Do you believe in creation or the big bang theory?

I don't think it makes sense that all of a sudden everything was just 'created'. I think I believe in both to an extent - that the Big Bang was created... i.e. some higher force caused it to happen, and then from there all the scientific suggestions that have been made in terms of the Big Bang theory, occurred.

You say you don't believe in creation, the foundation of all religions, in their eyes; how can you deny it? I believe the bible isn't to be taken literally, but instead should be used as a metaphor on life itself. You must remeber when the ''Creation theory'' was around, there was no science or any way of proving it so people used the bible as a way of explaining themselves and the world, and to put their minds at rest. My opinion :)

Yeah, I see what you're saying - the world and universe to some can be far too massive a thing to speculate. That's why many of those who seek answers focus on religion.

I couldn't have put it better myself.

Agreed. The more you think about the many types of life/existance......The more you think about the apparently never ending space. Never ending time. seemingly infinite amount of matter.......Big Bang/Creation all such theories don't come even close to making any sense of why or what we are here for.......Religion as defined by the religious makes the least sense of all.......Religion is simply used as a means of controlling life not understanding its origin and pupose.....But that's another debate on another thread.......
