What a gentleman on wages closer to the general public yet will still donate 30% while some players on 100k+ a week are refusing to donate

Which players have refused to donate?

Not publicly declaring you donate money =/= does not donate money to causes.

I find it really crass when people dictate what other people should be doing with their own money, regardless of how much or how little they appear to have.

The arsenal players are refusing to take paycuts and at least one of their players has refused to take any payout what so ever to the staff at the club or the MHS and he is on 350k a week

Refusing to take a paycut during the pandemic doesn't have anything to do with charity donations or the NHS?

He is being paid 350k to stay inside when his money could help someones life being saved.

His selfish behaviour of not even accepting a paycut could leave his club in bad financial trouble.

If all the mega rich donated a small percent of their money they could help hundreds of thousands.

The British players are the ones stepping up setting up an NHS fund that is expected to exceed £20m

Could it?

All money saved from paycuts during lockdown is being given to the NHS/healthcare?

You just said his paycut would help save lives, not a football club?

There is a fund set up my players asking other players to donate and all that money will go to local NHS trusts to where they are based

So, if they'd all taken paycuts whilst unable to work that money would've remained with the football clubs and not been possible for the players to donate to the NHS?

Has he refused to take a paycut AND refused to help those in need?

How has he refused to help the NHS?

Alot of clubs asked players to take paycuts so they could pay the other staff instead of furlough them

How has he refused to help the NHS?

Because he wasnt interested in donating to the fund set up by 4 players to donate millions to the NHS

So anyone who hasn't donated to that one fund has "refused" to help anyone?

Ok.

Your flossing over the whole point that an 20 year old on the lowest wage in the league is putting the big earners to shame

No, YOU'RE flossing over not knowing what everyone is doing with their own money.

But, of course, if you don't know about something you assume the worst. Their financial affairs are their own business.

You not knowing about someone's charity donations doesn't mean they don't exist.

It's about generosity dont be greedy when you can help the same goes for billionaires.

For instance look at J K Rowling who lost her billionaire status after donating tens of millions.

Being rich doesnt mean you have to be greedy

Again, you not knowing about something doesn't mean it isn't happening.
