Nicky and Chanelle have flown into fits of rage at Gerry this evening, for what they perceived to be him calling them fat.
A grumpy Nicky moaned at Gerry in the bathroom after he compared her physique to a petite Thai Thai friend of his.
"He was insinuating that I was fat, not slim like everyone else in here. He goes 'no, that's for petite women'. I buy petite clothes."
As Gerry tried to explain himself, Chanelle talked over him about lengths of the pool for the swimming task. When Gerry attempted to apologise, a snappy Nicky corrected his grammar, telling him: "I am telling you the right terminology."
"You are not fat," an exasperated Gerry proclaimed, trying to explain that he was talking about how little they had done in the swimming pool task. "You don't have to prove to me anything - you can just do much better!"
Not to be swayed, Chanelle carried on talking about how petite Nicky was, telling him: "The first time I met Nicky, I didn't even say hi. I said 'aren't you petite' over and over again!"
"Women are beautiful creatures but very confusing under the pressure of this environment. They can turn [things] into a very, very difficult situation," sighed Gerry, leaving the room soon after.
Ziggy has spent the late evening calming down Chanelle after she flew off the handle at Gerry over his perceived 'fat' comments.
As the former Northern Line singer walked into the bathroom, he was greeted by the sight of a petulant, angry Chanelle, who immediately launched into a loud rant against Gerry.
"Gerry's so mean, he's been really ****ing mean. He called me fat!"
At this point, Gerry entered the room. "I didn't say you weren't thin," he protested. "I said you have to put in a little more effort!"
Chanelle continued to moan, regardless: "It's freezing outside and it's really cold...it's cold outside, right? I came in here to warm up and you're just picking on me...all you do is bitch!"
"I'm not picking on you," responded a flabbergasted Gerry. Chanelle, however, wouldn't let up: "You were really upset today and I sat with you, I listened to you - now you come in here and bitch at me?"
After being told to calm down, things only became more intense: "Don't tell me to calm down in a patronising voice," Chanelle told him. "You're rude, you're obnoxious and you're really ****ing insulting!"
Even "cuddle buddy" Ziggy couldn't calm down the Posh Spice lookalike. His calls for her to go and do a bit of swimming to calm down were ignored, with Chanelle merely repeating her assertion that Gerry had called Nicky fat.
"He didn't call Nicky fat," Ziggy sighed, standing up for the museum worker and trying to get Chanelle to put on her swimming hat. "He's not a nasty person."
"This is so ****ing patronising," Chanelle continued. "It's ****ing freezing, it's minus a million...no one shouted at Brian!"
An annoyed Ziggy, however, told her: "Brian can't swim! You can!"
"Everyone's being mean," she moaned: "Even you are."
"Don't even go there," he frowned, before changing tactics in order to calm her down
