Perched but it will be an end of an era

I love that they haven’t given a single thing away about the plot in the trailer. I remember being SHOOK at the S3 trailer but I’d love this season to be a surprise. The only thing I could pick out was that it seems Bryce was on set and at table reads which nobody asked for but okay

Season 3 was terrible so i'm not really looking forward to this one

Hopefully they kill off Clay and Ani

Rewatching S3 before S4 comes out since I don’t remember where I gave up on it

4th episode in, eh it’s alright I guess. I don’t even remember a lot of it on rewatch but it might be better than first time around :clap2:

Flashing back & forth so much gets confusing tho & hard to multi task with work

Is Episode 5 the best episode of S3? It's by far the best one of the first 5 episodes

- Find out Monty is gay
- The Alex/Bryce story was pretty interesting
- Finding Tony's car in Bryce's garage

to name a few of the highlights

Weird that they took it down from 13 eps to 10.

Finished season 4, a decent finale that justifies watching the cluster**** that was season's 2 & 3.

ep2

lol at that college, Clay seeing Bryce hallucination, and him wtf at wanting to have sex with that drunk girl :o there you see how he's gotten worse mentally compared to first 3 seasons basically

Winston creeps me out big time

Jess still not over the whole Bryce thing understandable, and yes Justin was definitely flirting with that tour guide Amanda :joker:

so after 2 episodes now, kinda like the season i guess

I just finished Ep 6 of this. Season’s getting pretty good/intense, I think this season is the best it’s been since S1 already :clap1:

The season was ok, maybe my 2nd fave after S1 but I don’t remember much of S2. S3 was pretty **** so def better than that one

As for the finale

That was pretty bad. Soooo slow :joker: Feel-good ending I guess but man that was boring. Justin’s death tho </3

I kiiinda like this show but not a big fan of it or anything. Glad it’s concluded now as it has dragged past its expiration date ngl

(But like I said, decently well done job on this season fwiw)

~Second half of the season was actually awful in hindsight

The first half was interesting and gets your attention but then the second half just falls flat with it. No real payoffs for any storylines, doesn't make a ton of sense & basically barely even any action in general

Just me who couldn't get into the series? Also why only bring back 4 of the 5 dead characters

It was good the second half, a nice ending that wrapped everything up.

Wrong

Nothing was concluded in any of the first half of the season's storylines. The action/drama/etc. totally fell flat in the second half too. First half of the season at least has a fun horror/mystery type of vibe

Damn you have horrific taste.

The first half was straight up boring.

I watched this series out of obligation tbh, I liked the first season but every one after that was a chore.

The first half of the season was a ball ache to get through, it was repetitive (honestly, I felt like they could have copy and pasted most of Clay's scenes since they just hit the same notes over and over) and none of the central conflicts really worked out. Winston fell flat as an antagonist, Diego was a villain that basically retrod old ground but had a redemption arc in the end and Monty's sister felt like a missed opportunity. Honestly, the season was a bust until the Lockdown episode and then every episode after that was compelling.

The last episode had quite an effect on me for reasons I'd rather not say. I never expected this show which I've derided a lot to get under my skin as it did. I have mixed feelings about it really, Justin's death was emotional but I also think it was just one act of cynical cruelty too far for the show and for a show with a message, not giving Justin of all characters a happy ending didn't feel right. Justin, Jessica and Tyler should have all gotten happy endings considering the subject matter of their plotlines and it just feels wrong that Justin didn't. They killed him off for an emotional gut punch and, while it was a good one (I was pretty much weeping for the first half of the last episode), it felt needless. The writers wanted their tears and they got them but it didn't feel earned.

Still, it was a strong finish, the season as a whole is mostly weak due to the utter tedium of it's first half but I did really appreciate the second half despite my mixed feelings on Justin's death.

overall i enjoyed watching this season and in general this series a lot

i heard Katherine Langford is busy with some newer Netflix series, which is reason of her absence from season 4

Nicky hun she died in series 1

i know, she had a role in season 2 though as hallucination/ghost

apparently she had said she still needs to watch season 3 herself too, since filming commitments for that new one ''Cursed'' she has been very busy with

she still has good contacts with all of other cast and crew members though
