Americas Next Top Model: Every cycle RANKED worst to best

as much as people on twitter love to drag the show nowadays and dig up old clips from 2004 to use against Tyra, theres no denying that ANTM is the OG and most iconic reality tv competition of this format. It inspired countless spin-offs and replicas over the years but none of them even come close to the original series. So I've put together my personal rankings of all 24 cycles of the show. Enjoy!

24th - Cycle 21 (2014)

So someone somewhere along the line decided to bring men into the competition (which was completely unfair first of all..) and it opened the show up to become some sort of Love Island type dating mess. I think the majority of people will agree that the 3 guys/girls cycles were the weakest purely for the fact that the men just brought a completely different dynamic to the show that didnt feel right. Modelling styles are very different for men and women, the girls often had to do 10x as much posing and contortioning to get a decent photo while the guys would just have to tense their abs and look hot.

Cycle 21 imo is the worst of the guys/girls cycles. It has very few likeable people in the cast and the entire thing felt very rigged for a male model to win (after their first guys/girls season flopped because the guys sucked). Chantelle (winnie harlow) was a nasty piece of work and spent her earlier episodes moaning and complaining about everything. They even brought her back a few episodes after she had been eliminated and she still moaned and complained..

Then there was Romeo, the satanist witch who would draw pentagrams in the garden, who later got kicked off the show for punching another model.. A MESS! ..homophobic Denzel who was given that awful beard weave for his makeover. Mirjana who had a boyfriend at home and would flirt and kiss all the boys. Adam who thought he was in some sort of collage fraternity and even turned up to panel drunk AND STAYED?!

This whole cycle was truly a mess. The only contestants who had any sort of likeability were Shei and Raelia.

In the end, Lennox (who undoubtedly had way stronger photos than Will and Keith) ended up finishing 3rd because they clearly wanted a male top 2. Keith ended up winning in a very anti-climatic ending to an awful cycle. Bitchy condescending Will wouldn't have made a much better choice..


Memorable moments: Miss J coming to visit the house and pretending to get possessed by Romeos pentagram in the garden.

23rd - Cycle 22 (2015)

Not much better than Cycle 21, was cycle 22. Much of the same romance showmance type stuff that made the last one so tedious carries though into this cycle. The cast this time around were slightly more interesting so thats why this one edged one space ahead.

However, this cycle probably has THE worst contestant of all time, being Mikey, who manipulated and played a dirty game the whole way through, only to be given some sort of sob story ending.. eventually finishing 4th. He completely emotionally manipulated Courtney until her elimination in episode 5. When she finally got the guts to stand up to him, he turned the whole house against her and basically left her an outsider (she even slept outside...)

Then there was Bello and Devin... idek where to start with these two.. A MESS!!! They just hated each other and were at each others throats constantly, messy but entertaining.

These 3 pretty much dominated the whole cycle. Meanwhile Mamé and Lacey were actually decent models and took some stunning photos. Although when Mamé decided to start getting involved with Mikey I just gave up with her..

The best part of the whole series was how Haddasah was constantly low but still managed to drag everyone else each week :skull: giving us Jade Cole vibes.

After Mikey and Lacey were sent home before the final runway, Mamé and Nyle (the deaf one) became the final 2, with Nyle winning. Was this deserved? ...meh I never saw the appeal with Nyle tbh.. his photos were just the same face every week (and Tyra ate it up each week). Technically Mamé should've won.

22nd - Cycle 20 (2013)

Finishing off the guys/girls cycles is the very first one. Again, this one barely scrapes ahead of the last couple.. Aside from the fact that we actually got a decent winner this time.

Like the previous cycles, this one had the romance stuff too, but I guess with this one it was slightly more interesting being the first ever cycle with boys too. It got old very quick.

due to the social media voting element at the time, this cycle saw a lot of unfair eliminations. The boys had an advantage from the start, obviously fans were gonna vote for the boys because they were new and different. In terms of talent, I'd say this cycle probably had the most talented male models, Don, Cory and even scruffy Phil wasn't that bad.

However, the girls were obviously the better ones again. Jourdan had the competition from the start and Nina and Renee were close behind her.

Overall, this cycle was still bad, just the better of the bad bunch. :shrug:

Jourdan ended up winning, somehow Marvin managed to make the final 2 despite taking maybe 1 good photo throughout the entire show. Cory was eliminated literally right before the final runway (which was a shock at the time but they ruined it by doing it for the next 2 cycles too).

21st - Cycle 23 (2016/17)

So for the first time ever, Tyra stepped down as host and we were given a one-off replacement host in Rita Ora. An unusual choice to say the least. Rita didn't do a terrible job as host, but the show just isnt the same without Tyra :shrug: love her or hate her, shes the glue that holds it all together. With Rita it all felt a bit amateur.

That being said, Cycle 23 was still a decent series, we got some interesting girls and for the first time (maybe ever?) it actually felt like a serious modelling competition. There weren't any of Tyras usual gimmicks and cringe-worthy opinions, it was all just very plain sailing.

One thing that this cycle does spend too much time focusing on is "being a boss".. whatever that means.. and it almost starts to feel like they're competing to become business women rather than models.

This cycle also replaced Miss J with Stacey Mckenzie, who is just all kinds of messy.. from giving irrelevant critiques, to actually breaking down crying to the girls about her own insecurities.. like girl..

In terms of contestants, thank god this cycle re-introduced an all female cast! We got plenty of classic ANTM catty drama. A lot of the early drama revolved around Binta, who gave strong Sandra c12 vibes. The girls were tired of her butting in on conversations and generally just being ignorant :skull:

There was also Courtney who had various conditions and illnesses and the other girls tried to call her a liar nnn. The twins Cody and Tash especially hated her.

Overall this was an alright cycle, but it definitely lacked the FUN element that Tyra brings. It all felt way too serious.

The final 2 came down to Tatiana and India, with India bagging the win. It was kinda unexpected seeing as she'd been given such an irrelevant edit for the entire cycle and then just won, but she had some great photos.

20th - Cycle 24 (2018)

Currently the latest cycle, we saw Tyra return after her absence in cycle 23. With the return of Tyra, we also saw the return of her old tricks and gimmicks.

This cast seemed to be the most varied cast ever, there was 42 year old Erin, and a couple of other girls in their 30s. Khrystyana who was a bigger plus size girl than what they would normally go for, Jeana who has alopecia and just a generally mixed bunch of ethnicitys.

There were also a few messy girls, the first being Christina, who seemed to lack any sort of social skills and spoke to everyone like a robot. She always had something to say about her critique at panel. They gave her a lime green makeover which just made her seem even messier :skull:

Then there was Brendi K... I dont even know where to start with this one.. she was just an all round mess. She would flip and start screaming at the girls if anyone spoke bad about her

Jeana and Kyla were the final 2 with Kyla winning.. despite not taking any amazing photos all cycle.. shes the only winner to not even have a wiki page which says it all tbh

Screaming @ the culling of every season from Boys onwards, it’s what they deserve :clap1:

I still stand by the fact that Fan voting and Boys ruined the franchise. Although I would’ve put 20 at the bottom and 22 highest out of the Boy seasons. And I think Cycle 23 was actually a pretty good season it just gets hated on because there’s no Tyra or Jays or anything. The drama was quite entertaining and the personalities were really good.

19th - Cycle 17 (2011)

The first and so far only all stars series of ANTM. They brought back some of the series most memorable girls to try and compete again. On paper it all sounded amazing, unfortunately it was a disaster from the start :skull:

They had the all stars do a runway in the middle a huge crowd and a very early looking Nicki Minaj was a guest judge on panel. The whole thing was just very cringey and went about in the completely wrong way.

They then had the girls do a photoshoot where they had to recreate something memorable about themselves.. which again was a huge mess and done completely wrong.

We saw some of the shows most iconic and favourited girls be eliminated early on, such as Brittany, Sheena, Bre, Bianca.. even Camille was booted off 3rd?!

The second half of the cycle didnt get much better.. in fact it got worse.. the finalists all went to Greece and they actually started doing proper photoshoots (too little too late?). The final 3 girls were Lisa, Angelea and Allison, who each had to film some sort of video photoshoot thing that Tyra seemed to love doing around this time.

So then we get teleported into the future where the panel have all re-filmed the final judging with just Allison and Lisa.. Angelea (who was later revealed to be the real winner) is disqualified because she'd worked as an escort.. which really wasn't that big of a deal for them to re-film the entire final panel :shrug:

Lisa wins and its all very rushed and we're all confused, and still are confused all these years later..

at least this cycle gave us this iconic line..

I don't know what it is with reality shows but it seems that literally everytime they do an All Stars season it always ends up with the fillers making it to the end and the icons all getting booted early. It always happens with Survivor, Big Brother etc.

17 should've been soooo good with them casting the bitches from most cycles, but it wasn't even a modelling competition they just wanted someone who could do Z-list activities :skull: Plus without Jade, Toccara and Natasha it just seemed pointless, ignoring four of the best Cycles so they could cast people like Kayla, Shannon etc.

18th - Cycle 13 (2009)

The petite cycle featured girls who were all 5'5 and under. This was probably as interesting as this cycle got tbh.. I'll admit I haven't watched this cycle in years purely for the fact its just not that exciting.

It's an easy watch for those who don't like drama and fighting, however if, like me, you need to see a good fight, then the most you'll get from this cycle is Erin making a snide remark here and there.

In casting week we're introduced to crazy jesus lover Amber, who originally gets chosen to join the cast but is then disqualified for being an actress :skull: It says a lot when the most memorable contestant was only in 1 episode.

There were a few decent models this cycle such as Jennifer, Erin, Laura and Nicole. We also saw that infamous 'race-mashup' photoshoot where the girls had to be a mixture of two races/cultures :skull: This imo was even more problematic than the cycle 4 'got milk' one. Especially considering this happened 5 years after.

Ultimately Nicole won, and we all knew she was going to from the start. Nobody even came close. She was different, unique and took some amazing photos. She had that dorky late 00s/early 10s look that all the white girls had back then.

yeah they cast so many boring girls just for the sake of balance.. they probably thought the cast had too many black girls so tried to throw in a couple of the most average white girls they could find :skull: They could've at least tried to get girls like Joanie, Jenah or Molly

17th - Cycle 15 (2010)

This was the cycle that ANTM tried to become high-fashion and find a model that would make it big in the high-fashion market. They cast a lot of girls who typically meet that criteria such as Ann, Chelsey, Jane, Kendal, Rhianna. A few more commercial girls also slipped through the net too.. Chris, Terra, Kayla, Esther. Then there was that weird group of girls that were just there for the drama, Kacey, Liz, Lexie etc.

We all knew Ann was going to win from the start. She was just everything Tyra and the judges had been hoping for, tall, slim, awkward looking and could take a good photo. Tyra clearly felt she'd hit the jackpot because she gave Ann 5 first call outs in a row. Idk why the other girls even bothered tbh.

We had Chris for the majority of the cycle to give us the comic relief (because lord knows the other bunch of bores weren't giving us any). She introduced us to Myrtle...

Lexie and Kacey gave us some much needed drama at the start of the cycle, with Lexie holding a house meeting just so everyone could tell Kacey they didnt like her :skull: and when Lexie and Ann made a list of fake makeovers and left it for the other girls to find, some of them were fuming nnnn

This cycle also gave us the conveyor belt runway which tbh is probably one of the hardest runways they've ever had on the show

In the end, Ann and Chelsey were the final 2 and Ann ended up winning. We all been knew from day 1 so this really wasn't a shock. I dont think anyone could even argue this was the wrong decision either.

13 was cute but pales in comparison to the other iconic seasons. They should've done a plus size season that would've been more iconic.

15 was when ANTM tried to start taking itself seriously but honestly the best thing about it was Chris who was clearly just a TV personality <3 She should've been on All Stars instead of Kayla, one of the funniest reality stars ever, everything that came out her mouth was hilarious!

16th - Cycle 19 (2012)

This cycle saw the introduction of the social media voting, which imo was one of the worst mechanics brought onto the show. We saw so many random and unfair eliminations each week (even more so than usual). This was also the first cycle after the cast shakeup and the departure of Mr Jay, Miss J and Nigel. Kelly Cutrone stayed because they obviously thought that was such a great idea..

Dubbed 'The College Edition', this cycle only featured girls who were at college (not sure why but yeah). The whole thing just felt like an excuse so Tyra could brag about getting her Harvard degree.

Despite the crap new panel and social media element, this cycle had some good moments throughout.

Messy Mariah who thought she was better than all of the girls randomly quitting in episode 2 was a gag. Kristen was the biggest high school type bully you could imagine, manipulating the girls and causing drama, im all for the drama but even I was turned off by how catty she was, especially towards Leila.

Victoria was a strange mommys girl, who would literally cry on the phone to her mum every 5 minutes telling her how much she loved her... it was weird.

When Leila got eliminated early on, the fan vote meant one girl could return later on in the competition, and it was obviously gonna be her.

In the end, Leila, Laura and somehow Kiara managed to make the final 3, with Leila finishing 3rd and Laura taking the win.

I wouldn't say Laura was undeserving because she could take a good photo (and was miles better than Kiara) but this cycle really was Leila's to lose.

Oh and can we just talk about when Kelly Cutrone starting arguing with the photographer on set :skull: she honestly was a piece of work..

15th - Cycle 16 (2011)

If cycle 15 was the high-fashion cycle then cycle 16 must've been the budget blowing cycle because they got some of the biggest names in fashion for this cycle (probably thanks to judge Andre Leon Talley)

This was the first cycle to not feature a casting episode (except cycle 2) and it showed because we really had to try and learn about the girls straight from the get-go.. the good thing about casting is we can decide who we like/dislike and choose our early favourites based on their audition and story.

We had some interesting faces this cycle like Dominique, Michaela, Molly, Jaclyn. This was also the cycle that introduced Alexandria who was hated by pretty much all the other girls.

There was also Monique who was basically just a huge bitch but she could be a scream, especially when they did the meet the fans challenge and that man asked if she would sign his ass or something and Monique pointed at Alexandria and said "no but she will" :skull:

This cycle also gave is Mollys disastrous weave, still one of the messiest makeovers in antm history..

Alexandria and Brittani had this bitter feud throughout the season which came to blows when Alexandria won a car in a challenge and the two ended up having a full on screaming war on set. This carried through to panel when Tyra called Brittani out, who then had a panic attack and walked out :skull:

The top 6 went to Marrakesh which made for some of the best photoshoots from the show, the photos with the camel and baby jaguar (or whatever it was) were some of my favourites.

Eventually Brittani, Molly and Hannah made the final 3, with Brittani taking the crown. Personally I think Molly should've won this one, her portfolio was just stronger :shrug:

I’m pretty much on the same page as you in terms of the cycles. It’s crazy to think how many bad decisions were made in the later cycles.

I haven’t watched a few of the later cycles, I remember seeing a few episodes of Nyles season and I was actually enjoying it, the girl who got 2nd slayed as well.

Cycle 16 was an enjoyable cycle, they bought back final 3 and the girls were a lot better than 15

Cycle 19 was a mess, Kristen was :skull: and Kiara snatching final 2 is just all a scream

Cycle 19 is one of the poorer seasons I agree, I only really liked Victoria, Leila and Nastasia (the latter of which was barely shown even in her elim ep despite taking stunning pictures) but the whole season just felt like a set up/rig tbh. Fan voting is definitely the worst part of the franchise along with Boys.

I quite enjoyed Cycle 16 tbh, the drama was so catty but I loved that, and the photoshoots/models were really good as well. I do think it lacked the star power that most of the other seasons had though/

Yeah Cycle 24 is probably the worst all-girls season... it was just so uninteresting and the drama wasn't even fun to watch. I'm not surprised the show got culled/paused after it. The winner didn't even get her prizes I don't think :skull:

Yeah ANTM is one of the rare reality shows that doesn't really have a "bad" season for the majority of its run, it only became poor from like 19 onwards IMO. But literally you could recommend any season from 1-18 (minus All Stars) to a friend who was thinking of getting into the show and would probably be able to get them hooked off of one season.

If 20 had been the only male/female cycle I think it wouldn't be hated on quite as much because I do thing we got an amazing winner and quite a few of the male models were pretty good but whew I hated cycle 21, absolutely the pits of antm.

Shei and Lennox were the only likeable cast members and all the guys were just terrible, Will was heaped with praise when he was soooo mediocre and then cycle 22 was trash too, mikey bullying Courtney was so awful to watch.

14th - Cycle 12 (2009)

So, getting into the golden era and kicking it off is cycle 12. This was probably one of the more messy cycles but in a good way. This was also Paulina Porizkova's last cycle before she got fired on her birthday :skull:

This cycle is probably up there with cycles 3 and 14 as having some of the most arguments throughout, the whole cycle seemed like a war between the groups.

Obviously the most iconic fight was the one that took place after Celia interrupted judging while Kourtney was being eliminated and told Tyra that Tahlia had said she didnt want to be there :skull: the whole thing was a huge mess! Back at the house Teyona and Aminat were letting Celia have it on the staircase. Natalie and Allison somehow get involved and Aminat does her iconic "S-T-U-P-I-D!" in Natalies face before Tahlia makes that really cringey speech on the stair case about how she knows this is what she wants to do.. the cast pretty much stayed divided for the remainder of the series.

Then there was Sandra who was in a completely different category all together and seemed to have a problem with everyone :skull: her most iconic fight was the one with Celia (of course!) when she keeps shouting "YOURE 25 YOURE 25!". The final 6 girls went to Brazil where we saw Natalie eliminated which apparently led to a argument between her and Tyra which never got aired.. hopefully we get some tea on that from Jays chat :eyes:

The final 2 came down to Allison and Teyona, with Teyona winning. A lot of fans weren't happy about this at the time and felt Allison was robbed. Imo Teyona took some great photos and definitely deserved her win, but Allison did good too, it was pretty neck and neck.

13th - Cycle 2 (2004)

Back when the show was still finding its feet, cycle 2 seemed like a better thought out sequel to cycle 1. We had a strong cast of characters including April, Mercedes, Catie, Jenascia, Xiomara and of course Camille and Yoanna who just HATED eachother!

We had no casting episode for this cycle, instead a stretch car came and picked the girls up from random areas in NY.. it all felt very high budget at the time. The premiere episode was probably one of the most dramatic in the shows history. First off we had the Adam and Eve photoshoot where the girls had to have their naked bodies spray painted. Religious mother Anna was not having it and decided not to even do the photoshoot. Then there was the whole drama with Jenascia not waking up and the girls just left her in bed and went to the photoshoot :skull: she eventually arrived late and got a telling off from Nigel.

In the end, they both ended up in the bottom 2, but because Jenascia actually did the photoshoot, she was saved.

There was plenty more drama with Catie and her boy haircut makeover and then her fear of heights when they had to be suspended over a massive open hole.

Then the runways... Xiomara and her crazy eyes prompting Miss J to give her iconic "girl you walk like you on crack" line :skull: and of course Camille and her signature walk, that got mentioned plenty of times over the future cycles.

Another scream from Camille was during the acting challenge, when the girls had to learn how to show emotion by learning a script and crying real tears at the end. Camille however completely re-wrote the script and did her own piece :skull: and of course when Tyra came over to the house for lunch with the girls and Camille told her that Yoanna had an eating disorder and had gone to the toilet to throw up nnnnn

as well as this we also had Heather being left out, the iconic house meeting with the 'speaking hand' being passed around, Bethanys boobs, Sara's shocking elimination, and obviously one of the most controversial moments of the entire show when Shandi cheated on her boyfriend in Milan! That phone call the next day remains iconic.. "YOU HAD SEX?!"

12th - Cycle 11 (2008)

Coming in at the halfway mark is cycle 11. This cycle saw one of the more extra casting episodes, where Tyra, 'Alpha Jay' and 'Beta J' were looking for the future of fashion. They had the girls pretending to be scanned and teleported and random crap like that. One of the big talking points was Isis, the first transgender model to appear on the show. She'd previously been in the homeless photoshoot in cycle 10 but was scouted by Tyra and asked to audition for the next cycle. Some of the girls were fuming and didnt know why she was there if she was "a man". Kacey (who later returned in cycle 15) was making all kinds of digs alongside ShaRaun and Clarke (with an e).

Needless to say ShaRaun didnt last long and after boasting how she would become Americas Next Top Model all episode long, she was the first to be eliminated.

There was that challenge early on where the girls had to pose with a handbag and Sheena decided to place it on her crotch :skull: Mr Jay was already calling her a hoochy and she didnt do much to prove him wrong

This cycles most interesting moments came in the final 6 when a clear divide between the girls was apparent. Sheena, Sam and McKey vs Marjorie, Analeigh and Elina.

Elina had already butted heads with Sam, Sheena, Brittany and a couple of others, and had that random snog with Clarke in the jacuzzi..

When the girls went to Amsterdam there was that messy posing challenge when they had to model in a window at the red light district nnn... Marjorie also got really drunk one night when the male models were visiting and ended up in the hot tub with about 4 of them. We were all hoping for another Shandi moment but Analeigh dragged Marjorie to bed and sent the boys home.

In the end the final 2 came down to McKey and Sam, McKey won and ultimately I think it was deserved. Sam took some great photos too.

11th - Cycle 1 (2003)

Just shy of a spot in the top 10 is the OG cycle, cycle 1. Eventhough it was the very first season, its part of the reason the show went on to have so much success worldwide. The cast were iconic, we had Adrianne, Elyse, Ebony, Giselle, Shannon and the legendary Robin!

After 8 girls were chosen during casting, Tyra brought 2 new girls, Giselle and Tessa into the competition shortly after. Tessa didn't last long as she was the first girl to be eliminated after not even a whole episode. The cycle 1 judging room was a mess, they had a church hall looking table covered in a cloth, with some ugly navy blue curtains draped around the room. Tyra, Kimora, Janice and some other guy were crammed shoulder to shoulder on that tiny table for the entire season.

The panel of course being one of the most iconic things about ANTM, whoever decided to hire Janice clearly knew what they were doing, her critiques were always amazing

One of the biggest screams was Ebony (who already had basically no hair) complaining about her makeover which barely looked any different :skull: the hair stylists kept making jokes about writing their names in her hair and Ebony was not gonna let that go!

Then we had Robin, who remains one of the most iconic girls from the show. She was constantly causing fumes in the house, even on day one she started with Adrianne and Tessa for smoking inside the house. She had made friends with the fellow christian girls Kesse and Shannon and it often became those three (especially Robin) against Ebony, Adrianne and Elyse. She even showed Elyse the bible quote about how foolish being an atheist was. One of the best moments came when Ebony decided to hide a Tyra Mail from the other girls and when Robin found out she decided to hold an exorcism to get rid of the demons in the apartment :skull:

When the final 5 went to Paris, they had to do go-sees and travel around central Paris using only a paper map. Robin decided to pay a French man to escort her around the city meanwhile Adrianne got touched up by a pervert.. a messy first go-sees that would lead to many more..

Another of the most iconic moments came when Robin and Shannon refused to take part in the final 4 photoshoot which involved them getting semi-naked because it was against their beliefs, but Mr Jay and tyra both called out Robin and said they'd seen her open her gown and shake her tits at Mr Jay :skull: Robin was adamant that she didn't do this "I dont know whether they...shook". Janice also quipped in with "where was your bible when you were shaking your titties?" :skull:

Eventually Adrianne and Shannon were the final 2 and Adrianne deservedly won, we all kinda knew once Elyse had gone and after Shannon had refused to do the nude shoot that Adrianne was going to take the win. This then led to the still on going feud between her and Tyra after she didn't receive any of her prizes for winning. After a brief appearance on cycle 2, Adrianne never returned and was never mentioned or referenced on the show again.

And I think it's messed up that Camille got eliminated when she won the go-sees and all the designers loved her strong attitude. That season was really set up for Yoanna to win honestly.

10th - Cycle 5 (2005)

Kicking off the top 10 is Cycle 5, by which point the show had found its feet and this felt like the first cycle that had been planned out properly and not quickly rushed together last minute. Twiggy replacing Janice on the panel also gave the show a bit more of a classy touch.

The girls were far from classy however.. we had butch lesbian Kim who tried it with at last half the cast, big lip Sarah who couldnt walk to save her life, Nicole who spent the entire time whining and Bre who spent the entire time clocking her. Then of course there was Lisa, who was just in her own world all together.

Lisa and her crazy antics caused her to come to blows with many of the other girls, one of the most iconic being her fight with Coryn backstage at a photoshoot when Lisa tried to give her unwanted advice. Coryn tells Lisa no one here likes her, especially her and delivers her iconic line, "and what are you doing, alcoholic bitch?". Lisa was truly shook.

That didnt stop Lisa getting drunk every night and running around the house like a loony. There was even that night when all the girls had gone to bed and she stayed out with a glass of wine talking to a bush she'd called 'cousin it' :skull: oh and that time she peed in a diaper on set..

The final 6 girls flew to London where we got the iconic granola-gate where Bre assumed Nicole had eaten a granola bar from her room so poured all her red bulls down the sink :skull: Kim walked in and caught Bre, who jumped her to the ground. When Kim tried to talk to Bre about it the following day, Bre didnt want to talk and certainly didnt want to talk to Nicole.

Later that day at panel, while the judges were deliberating, Bre and Kim carried on their fight backstage where Bre told Kim "you will not win this competition, because you are an ugly person, you have an ugly personality" :skull: Kim was eliminated that day..

In the end Bre finished 3rd and the top 2 were Nik and Nicole with Nicole winning. It's generally agreed among fans that Nik should have won this cycle, even Miss J recently said she was the only one who voted Nik to win on the panel.

9th - Cycle 18 (2012)

This cycle was dubbed the US vs UK cycle where they brought back 7 girls from Britains Next Top Model to compete against 7 new girls from the US.

Lets be honest, the UK girls really made this cycle amazing, the US girls were messy. Seymone introduced herself as a military brat and it showed.. she was gobby and sulked for pretty much the entire time she was there. Laura was just very strange and often outwardly sexual, especially with a teddy bear she had. The UK girls decided to steal it and chuck it in the pool and Laura went crazy, stomping around screaming and crying

One of the funniest moments was when the girls had to do an eating challenge (for literally no reason) and Seymone demolished a whole haggis, which led Candace to do impressions of her later that evening, "she didnt wanna share that haggis!" this led to a huge fight :skull:

This was also the cycle that introduced Kelly Cutrone as a judge and she wasted no time causing drama. When she told Louise to stop running on set, Louise was having none of it. Later on at panel, Kelly confronted Louise and called her rude to which Louise snapped back "nonono you were rude to me...", this then led to one of the most dramatic exits from the show when Louise stormed out and was filmed in the car park outside shouting at Ken Mok saying "IF I EVER SEE THAT KELLY CUTRONE AGAIN ILL KNOCK HER OUT" :skull: iconic!

AzMarie had been a clear front runner from the start, winning challenges and getting first call outs, however she shot herself in the foot when she refused to wear a fake bum pad in a dance teach with Tyra.. she got sent home the same episode :skull: That being said, the UK girls song 'We'll Mash You Up' was imo the best song to come out of ANTM. I still die at "couture strutter, like no other, sincerely a stunner, Alisha!"

The girls went to Macau and Hong Kong during the top 6, and you just know its gonna be good when they go to Asia :laugh: After doing a photoshoot with silkworms, they had to pose on a ledge on top of a huge skyscraper type building, Sophie and Alisha broke down in tears but still managed to do the shoot. At panel that week it came down to Alisha and Ebonee in the bottom 2 and when Tyra revealed Alisha was safe, she broke down crying and said she'd rather give up her place for Ebonee to stay. Tyra was having none of it and sent Ebonee home along with Alisha.

In the end the final 2 came down to Sophie and Laura. It was kind of obvious they were gonna give Sophie the win, otherwise what would've been the point in a US vs UK series just for a US girl to win. Imo this was deserved anyway, Laura took some amazing photos but she wasn't personable at all.

8th - Cycle 14 (2010)

After the calm, drama-free cycle 13, we got PLENTY of drama in the following cycle. With Angelea being brought back from cycle 12 casting, mixed with a bunch of other big personalities, Alasia, Anslee, Krista, Brenda.. this was never going to be a quiet bunch.

This cycle saw the introduction of Andre Leon Talley, the most high profile judge they've ever managed to get on the show (its a shame he had to suffer through all stars..). After Alasia took that messy photo with her arm hiding her ass crack, it was obvious Tyra had chosen that photo purely for the laugh factor and was probably intending to send Alasia home, however Andre defended her and said he would hang this photo in his salon! Ultimately saving her from being eliminated.

I'm not even sure where to start with all the drama from this cycle.. there was just an endless string of fights :laugh: I'll start with Angelea. One week when Angelea had been called high while Brenda and Raina had been low. Angelea couldn't resist taunting them and giving them 'the bitch please look', Brenda gave her "why are you staring at me thats so rude" line, but Angelea wasn't budging.

Brenda also had various other fights, like the one with Anslee when Brenda had made a remark about Anslee leaving a bowl of food out of the fridge, causing Anslee to blow. Then there was the fight with Krista after Brenda had her hair cut in the kitchen and refused to sweep up the hair, so Krista brushed all the loose cut hair into Brendas bedroom :skull: I'm pretty sure there was a fight between Brenda and Alasia too over a wooden spoon being thrown into the sink lmao

The final 6 went to New Zealand where they did go-sees and Angelea became the first girl in ANTM history to book 6 out of 6 go-sees.

In the end both Alexandra and Angelea missed out on the place in the final 2 when they got double eliminated in New Zealand. Raina and Krista were the top 2 with Krista winning, in a rather unexpected twist as everyone had just assumed Raina would win.

This cycle acted as a 'soft-reboot' to the franchise, the team headed back to NYC for the first time since cycle 3 and ditched Twiggy from the panel for Paulina Porizkova. Casting saw the girls attend an all girls preparatory school where they had to do classes in posing with Mr Jay and in runway with Miss J before doing their audition. This was one of the strongest casting episodes from the entire show, we had Dominiques classic "PRI-TTY", Kimberly being a dumb blonde, Stacy-Anns iconic lap dance for Mr Jay and Fatima getting into numerous fights including the iconic "can I call you bitch?" :skull:

The girls first runway challenge was a catwalk in time square where Marvita walked the whole runway with her head down nnn... At panel Kimberly suddenly decided she didnt want to be there anymore and blamed it on not wanting to wear designer clothing (we later found out it was because her boyfriend and mother committed suicide not long before filming) and she just left.

Allison and Fatima had this feud that seemed to stem from Fatima saying Allisons butt were bigger than hers :skull: Allison replied "thanks for saying that to the anorexic girl" and stormed off. Allisons eating habits were brought up a few times, especially when she added A1 sauce (which is like BBQ) to jelly chunks.. Allison then got some barbie dolls out and started taunting Fatima with them by making comments about the black one 'taking it up the back' jdhflfjdh just messy.

Makeovers came and we had some messy ones, Marvita was given that horse main hair weave, Stacey Ann had her hair all chopped and was left with what looked like fluff, Allison was given that awful orange dye job, Katarzyna and Dominique were given the ugliest aunty bob cuts..

Lauren, Fatima and Dominique seemed to be the main catalysts in the drama this cycle, Lauren and Fatima had that huge fight because Lauren had poured Fatimas coffee out.. she made her another coffee in a wine glass and gave the iconic "heres your cup of ****ing coffee you big baby" :skull:

Then Dominique had that fight against Lauren, Whitney and Claire for reasons im not even sure.. I think it all stemmed from Claire being woken up by Dominiques alarm clock lmao.. Dominique then accused Whitney of being racist, to which she gave us this iconic line...

After all this and a few episodes later Stacy Ann unfairly got eliminated at the airport and the final 6 flew to Rome. The first thing Anya did was fall out the mini van :skull: The girls did their covergirl commercials in Italian which was a complete mess. Lauren couldn't even speak English let alone Italian. None of the girls aced this one... we did get Dominiques iconic "BRAZILIA!"

In the end the final 2 came down to Anya and Whitney and its no secret that Anya was robbed of this win. Whitney had been in the bottom two 5 times and Anya not once. It was a pure robbery!

Sadly in 2016 Kimberly died, supposedly from suicide too.

6th - Cycle 8 (2007)

Well into the golden era we have Cycle 8. This cycle gave us so many big characters its impossible to know where to start.. For casting week the girls had to join a military camp and follow orders from their generals Mr and Miss J. Jaslene returned from cycle 7 casting and gave us some more of her sassy latina personality. Kathleen was an absolute scream and came out with so many 1 liners. Cassandra had that wig sown into her hair :skull: Jael (who was half black?!) was all kinds of wacky and then Natasha who had had a baby and gotten married to a 40 year old man and everyone thought she was an online bride :skull:

for the first photoshoot the girls had to be 'pro' or 'anti' something. Tyra at the time said this was the weakest first week photoshoot she'd ever seen on the show.. Unfortunately we were robbed of legend Kathleen in the first week.

There was then that infamous fashion show at a high school where Sarahs boobs kept flashing out of her dress :skull:

As with great tradition on ANTM, the girls had to do a photoshoot involving death just after one of the girls friends had died :skull: Its like they just know! Imo this was one of the best photoshoots from the entire show, I loved the whole concept. This along with the ice cream one, where Cassandra was made to hold a scoop of ice cream for so long that her hand caught hypothermia nnnn

Also another underrated moment from this cycle was when the girls met Benny Ninja for a posing challenge and had to pose their way through security lasers without touching them. Whitney won a bracelet and that week at panel just casually walked up with her arm out showing it off :laugh:

There was of course that iconic acting challenge where Dionne and Renee won a T-shirt :skull: Whitney gave the line "we are on americas next top model and these fools walked up there and got a damn t-shirt"

Speaking of Renee, most of the girls hated her for the first half of the cycle, prompting Tyra to hold an intervention so each girl could tell Renee what their problem with her was. This actually led to a fight between Dionne and Renee shortly after instead

Aside from Dionne, Renee also had an ongoing feud with Brittany after she heard Brittany talking about her through the walls. Brittany and her awful red weave were an ordeal too.. that truly was the worst makeover from the show. Thankfully they eventually removed the weave after Brittany showed Tyra how badly it was pulling her sclap

We also had the celebrity pool party challenge where the girls had to give themselves nicknames and go meet with talent manager Benny Madina. 50 Cent was also at this party and Jael couldn't resist continuously taunting him, eventually leading him to push her in the pool :skull:

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie were also there and tried creating drama with Renee and Jael by telling Jael that Renee had said she hated her :skull: on top of all this, the girls also had to have their interviews with Benny, Jael and Natasha both walked in dripping wet and the whole thing was just chaotic! Then when it was Renees turn to meet Benny, she introduced herself as 'Naiyem' and Benny thought she was saying 'name?' and the two kept going back and forth with "name?" "Naiyem." "your name?" "yes" :skull:

The final 6 went to Australia where they did the infamous go-sees where Natasha and Brittany were late. Brittany had thought she'd told her cab driver to meet her on different street but hadnt, so when she arrived back she completely lost it.

When it got to the final 4, Renee, Dionne and Jaslene all turned on Natasha and wanted to get her eliminated, this backfired and Dionne was sent home. Natasha and Jaslene made the final 2 and Jaslene took the win. Imo this was very deserved, Jaslene had been killing it from the start, I loved Natasha but she wasnt winner material :skull:

Post show didnt get much better for some of the girls, Renee ended up involved in drugs and eventually went to prison (where she became a lesbian!) and Jael became heavily addicted to meth and appeared on Dr Phil. She later overcame her addiction but lost her life to cancer in 2018.

Natasha comparing herself to Gisele was one of the funniest moment ever on that show lmao She just delivered that line in the most unbothered way possible.

Also, Allison was robbed twice, close second in terms of robbery were Raina and Anya. Teyona, Krysta, Lisa and Whitney has no business being winners but whatever.

But yeah, the amount of craziness that happened in that show was on another level. Other shows wish they would :joker: Focus on the casting episodes where the weirdness was over the top (C11 with that space theme I cannot deal lmao)

If there was ever a cycle to go to when you just want some classic antm then Cycle 7 is the one to re-visit. This was also arguably the cycle where Tyra started acting crazy every week. Casting week saw us meeting girls like Melrose who wasted no time getting involved in drama, Eugena who thought the girls on cycle 6 were boring oop.. Monique who seemed pretty normal during casting, twins Michelle and Amanda who looked like some sort of HAIM rejects and loads more.

The girls had to pose topless with long wigs covering their boobs on top of a hotel roof, most of the girls had no problem but a couple of the girls including a religious girl called Ginger didnt want to and kicked up a huge fuss.. eventually she did it and didnt even make the final cast so that sucks for her nnn..

When the girls got to the house, there was 2 beds short and Monique missed out on getting a bed, so she poured water over Eugenas bed to mark her territory and casually sat there. When Eugena came back and asked what she was doing Monique replied "I decided to just pee on the bed today" :skull:

For their first photoshoot the girls had to portray model stereotypes and Tyra gave that performance of her acting like a diva (it was probably real). Monique was given the phone throwing model which was obviously a dig at Naomi Campbell :skull:

One of the most iconic moments this cycle came when the girls had to do a challenge where they stopped at different floors of a department building and had to choose an outfit on one then do makeup on the other etc, and if they didnt make it back to the elevator in time the doors would shut and they'd be disqualified. The ones who made it to the top got to meet Queen Latifah. Monique got disqualified and back at the house decided to take up the phone booth for hours just to be spiteful :skull: Melrose had to pay her rent and the other girls kept trying to distract Monique on the phone by flashing her etc.. In the end Anchal had had it with Monique and stormed in and cut her phone line mid-conversation

Monique also trashed the kitchen and stomped on all the girls food.. and then decided (for some reason) to wipe her dirty underwear all over Melrose bed while she was sleeping :skull: a MESS! Because she got sick and didnt do the next photoshoot, Monique was eliminated.

Makeovers brought us some of the most dramatic reactions this cycle, Jaeda crying because she didnt want her hair cut short was iconic, Megg was crying because she had to have some sort of weave sown in, AJ made a huge fuss because they wanted to dye her hair from black to dark red and then Monique had that dramatic scene on the toilet crying her eyes out to Mr Jay because she was getting a fresh weave :skull:

Anchal had gained criticism from the judges and the other girls throughout the cycle for gaining weight. With this came her loss of confidence, especially after hearing Melrose slag her off in the hot tub saying "as the competition progresses, I dont see her getting more beautiful". The judges got tired of her being unconfident and after she ran out of judging after a judging test, they decided that was a good excuse to eliminate her

Aside from all the drama, Michelle decided she was gonna come out as gay which upset her twin Amanda because she was worried how others would react. There was that emotional phone conversation with their mum..

When Megg was eliminated, her best friend in the house, AJ, went into her shell the following week and got eliminated despite being one of the front runners up until that point. Brooke was eliminated on her high school graduation day, which was obviously done for the drama.

The final 6 girls went abroad to Barcelona where they had to shoot their covergirl commercials in Spanish with some male models. Part of the commercial was for the girls to kiss their male model, however Jaedas model told her he didnt want to kiss a black girl. This obviously made Jaeda uncomfortable but Mr Jay told her to just do it anyway :skull: She was eliminated that week..

At the bull matador shoot, CariDee made a joke to Nigel about removing the pole from his ass from last panel :skull: Nigel was fuming and dragged it out way too much (he still comments it on her insta pictures). Michelle sacrificed her place in the competition for Amanda the same week.

The final 2 came down to CariDee and Melrose where they did one of my favourite final 2 runways from the show. Miss J killed it too :skull:

CariDee ended up winning and I think overall she was the right winner. Melrose did an amazing job throughout and did great in the final runway but she lacked the likeability that CariDee had.

4th - Cycle 9 (2007)

just missing out on a top 3 placing is the ever controversial cycle 9, imo a very underrated cycle that was tainted by bad press and negativity in the fanbase. For casting, the girls were flown to the Caribbean where they stayed on a luxury cruise ship. We were introduced to girls like Heather who had aspergers syndrome, Bianca with her red weave, Saleisha who had already met Tyra from attending her T-Zone camp, Yale educated Victoria, southern belle Janet and one of my favourites who never made the cut was Spontanious

Ebony rubbed a lot of girls up the wrong way during casting, including cycle 10s Marvita after Ebony had said "lets play a game and see who has an eating disorder". Marvita replied "when was your last damn meal, because you look anorexic" :skull: Tyra told Ebony that a lot of the girls had said they didnt like her, in a very Eva cycle 3 type moment.

The girls first photoshoot was the side effects of smoking where they had to pose with two separate looks, one glamorous smoking shot and one with a side effect reflected in the mirror. Mila was given that awful side effect with the balding hair and she couldnt keep it together on set, so was ultimately eliminated.

For the girls runway lesson they had to go to Miss Js asylum and walk in straight jackets, probably one of the best runway lessons they've done on the show.

Bianca had that iconic fight with Saleisha after Saleisha was bragging about her accomplishments in the modelling industry. Saleisha quipped "your mouth aint gonna get you into modelling" to which Bianca replied "my mouth can get me anywhere!". She also added "for real, you look like a Bratz doll" :skull: and of course as Saleisha was walking away we got the iconic "you're borderline plus size, check ya thighs in the mirror, and im done!" nnn

Chantal then got involved and her and Bianca had a face to face war of words and had to be separated by other girls. Later at the photoshoot, Bianca then decided Lisa was her next fight and told her "you really think americas next top models gonna be an exotic dancer? what a role model, grow up go home!" and we got this iconic fight..

At the makeovers, Tyra brought out this big screen and had the girls see their makeovers appear digitally on their promo shots. The actual makeovers of course looked nothing like the digital shots :laugh: Biancas weave was so worn and tatty they decided to just shave her entire head (and give her that horrible blonde wig). Lisa was given that short poodle hair and of course Saleisha got the iconic mushroom weave.

Heather had a tough time fitting in a lot of the time, the other girls would often tease her, Bianca especially. There was that scene where Heather had been waiting to use the phone for ages and just as it was free, Bianca pushed in and took it :skull:

At panel each week, Victoria would snap at Twiggy every time she gave her critique, the final time being when Victoria was given the cactus for the plant photoshoot and Twiggy started with "I think its funny you were given the cactus because" before Victoria interrupted her with "can I get one thing straight.. I dont have a prickly disposition" :skull: needless to say she was eliminated that week.

After being critiques about her posture and for not smiling, Ebony decided that she wanted to quit the competition, and when Ambreal was eliminated, Ebony (who had obviously been told to do it during the elimination for good TV) told Tyra she wanted to go. Tyra replied with "theres nothing more unattractive to me than a quitter" :skull:

The girls also had the muse runway where each girl was paired with a designer and they had to create a design and give a speech on the runway about how they were the muse for their designer. Heather forgot her words on stage and was just a huge mess. Saleisha did that annoying giggle and wink and Bianca, in her Cleopatra inspired outfit gave the line, "cleopatras got a bit of an attitude" and did her walk.

The girls also had to do a music video shoot (the first since Tyras in cycle 2) for Enrique Iglasias for his song Tired of Being Sorry. Sarah was eliminated because the judges felt she had LOST too much weight and wasnt plus size anymore :skull:

The final 6 girls went to Shanghai where they did go-sees around the city. Heather ends up getting lost after losing her cab and wonders around the streets by herself for hours and is ultimately disqualified from the challenge

During the final 4 challenge, the girls were each given a traditional Chinese dress and had to shop around a shopping center with a small budget each to buy some accessories. While the girls are all frantically rushing around, Bianca finds an area with no shops across from the main shopping center, she sees Jenah and tells her to go shop over there because they have so much stuff skjdsksj.. Jenah wonders over and realises Bianca just played her..

The final 4 do a photoshoot on the Great Wall of China shot by Tyra. Bianca is eliminated that week leaving us with Saleisha, Jenah and Chantal who go on to do their covergirl commercials. At the final 3 panel, the girls are asked who should go home and why. Chantal and Saleisha both pick Jenah with Chantal saying she wouldn't want her little sisters looking up to someone like her.. oop.. Jenah then breaks down to the judges and gives her speech about not feeling the need to spew rainbows like Chantal and Saleisha to have a personality. Tyra tells Jenah shes proud of her and thinks shes found her true self ...then eliminates her :skull:

Chantal and Saleisha do the final runway, where they have to walk on the grounds of a giant Chinese palace in Beijing, surrounded by performers on tall stilts. One of the stilt people get caught on Chantals long train of fabric and slips. This was probably the deciding factor that justified Tyra to give Saleisha the win. Imo neither of these two deserved to win, Jenah, Heather, Bianca and even Lisa all had stronger photos. The elimination order overseas seemed to get very mixed up.

Apart from the outcome, this cycle was a hoot and always one of my favourites to re-visit.

To kick off the top 3 we have the absolute classic Cycle 4! After the whirlwind that was cycle 3, this cycle had a lot to live up to, and it certainly did not disappoint.

This cycles casting episode introduced us to Tiffany who returned from cycle 3 after not making the cut for getting involved in a bar fight. Brita who was 25 but in her head thought she looked 14, Noelle who had a kid and liked to mention it every 9 seconds, Lluvy who was a former gang member, Brandi and her red afro wig who were all kinds of messy, Brittany who looked like Janice Dickinsons daughter and more.

We also met one of castings most memorable girls who never made it with Jessika aka 'Lady Kat', who not only crawled like a cat for her runway but also got attacked by bees in a park.

For the girls first photoshoot they were shot by Nigel Barker, with Janice and Nolé also on set to help (or not). Brandy was one of the last girls to shoot and after Nigel went to talk to her she gave him attitude and pretty much solidified herself a place in the bottom 2 before even doing her shoot :skull:

For some reason they gave all the girls makeovers this cycle, Sarah got her hair cut short to a 'peter pan' look (which looked awful), Brandy was told she was keeping her red wig and after throwing a tantrum was told it would be removed. Michelle had her hair bleached platinum blonde and we found out from the Jays recently that the reason her head hurt so much was because she had shampood her hair that morning.

This infection led to one of the funniest moments on the show when the girls thought she had a flesh eating bacterial disease. Noelle's mother had told her it was all over the news, so she went and told the other girls and it spread around the house. Other girls asked friends and family if they'd heard about it and they all said yes they had, causing more drama. Tiffanys grandmother told her she needed to get a life and read a book which was iconic.

The girls also did a challenge with a fake angry photographer where they had to take a photo playing tennis. Even though he rubbed the girls up the wrong way, it was in the waiting area where the real drama happened when Tatianna (who for some reason was laying under a table) made a comment to Brandy which caused her to go off at her.

We also had the controversial 'got milk' photoshoot where the girls had to be made into a different race holding a baby. Michelle was given a fake baby because of her skin disease :skull: There was also the zodiac shoot where each girl had to portray a different star sign. Lluvy gave us one of the worst photos of all time with her Pisces photo.

Then of course came the most iconic moment in antm history, when Tyra double eliminated Rebecca and Tiffany in what was already a shocker, the even bigger shock came when Tyra completely went in on Tiffany. I dont even need to talk about this because we ALL know it off by heart now.

Kahlen gets news from home that a close friend of hers had died and that same day the girls have to do a 7 deadly sins photoshoot where they have to pose deep inside graves.

The final 6 girls went to South Africa, which was 1 in only 2 times (the other being Cycle 16) that the girls have gone to Africa. Before posing with Mary the model crocodile, the girls went on a safari where they saw a bunch of wild animals. The biggest scream came when they had to go through the lion area and the safari rangers told the girls they all had to be silent so they dont disturb the lions, so they all look to Brittany, who makes growling noises, causing the lions to start chasing the open van :skull:

Later that night, Brittany, Keenyah and Christina got to stay at a 'luxury' villa while Naima, Kahlen and Michelle had to camp outside. The girls in the luxury hotel got plagued by insects all night, even in the hot tub :skull:

During a photoshoot with African male models, one of them starts breathing all over Keenyah and making her uncomfortable, when she stops the shoot and says something, Mr Jay just tells her to carry on sksk

On top of this, Keenyah also had to deal with gaining weight during the show. The fact that she was given gluttony as a deadly sin and then made to be the elephant in another shoot was shady :skull:

Keenyah and Brittanys friendship was put to the test during this time. The two had been close from the start but Brittany was starting to get on Keenyas nerves and after the whole drama about Naima opening Nelson Mandelas cell, Keenyah had gotten on Brittanys nerves too. The two had a big falling out which peaked in the cab when Brittany shouted "SHUT UUUUUUUUP" in Keenyahs face :skull:

In the end, the final 2 were Naima and Kahlen. This one was pretty close it really could've been either of them, although I think Naima had more of a general model look about her.

Overall this series was just full of iconic moments.. each episode there was something new. Tiffany getting drunk and throwing up under the table of a fancy restaurant was a scream. Brandy in general was a scream. Also the judging tests from this cycle were so bad but good, like the iconic "can you say magnetic" prompt reading one :skull:

wow okay so I debated which of these iconic cycles to put 1st and 2nd for ages because they're both neck and neck. I finally (after like 6 days) decided to give the runner-up slot to Cycle 6.

The girls have to wear bald caps for their first photoshoot and somehow some of them look great while others look awful. Country Kathy is the first to be eliminated. Then came the makeovers and Jade was furious that her afro had been cut off and dyed blonde and was adamant that she needed long hair. Meanwhile back at the house Wendy had finally managed to re-connect with her family over the phone, until Jade comes up and demands she needs to use it. Leading to one of the most iconic scenes from the show between Jade and Furonda "sitting there with that crown on your head, they aint even real diamonds"

For the runway that week the girls had to walk with a bejeweled cockroach as an accessory. Jade was taunting Gina backstage with her cockroach and caused Gina to slip on the runway. When it was Jades turn to go she actually kissed her cockroach.

One of the biggest storys of the cycle was Nnenna and her possessive boyfriend John, which came to blows when Nnenna kissed a male model on a shoot. Brooke had decided she was sick of Nnenna and completely flipped out, telling the whole house how much of a selfish bitch she was.

Janice Dickinson joined the girls for dinner one day and her and Jade were getting on well. Janice then asked Gina who she thought was the bitch in the house and Gina pointed to Jade, who gave us the iconic "wha?" gif. Janice then decided to let rip at Gina for ratting out Jade, "we NEVER rat out our bitches!" :skull:

Then there was the iconic covergirl improv commercial, where each girl had to improv their lines while walking through a party. Practically all the girls did an awful job. Brooke gave her iconic "I just LOVE wearing covergirl...its just SO nice to wear" and then Jade of course delivered her legendary performances..

As I've said before, when the girls go to Asia you know its going to be a scream, this cycle the girls went to Thailand and it was a complete culture shock. As Jade and Nnenna were the challenge winners, they were treated to a Thai massage by the other girls. Joanie was the only one who took it seriously while Furonda and Danielle were poking with their fingers instead :skull:

At the go-sees, no girl made it back on time. Jade decided to see all the designers which made her over an hour late. Danielle got really sick while in Thailand and had to spend a night in the hospital to recover from food poisoning.

For the challenge, the girls had to perform a traditional Thai dance in front of an audience, the whole challenge was a mess and gave us Furondas iconic crunk hula dance :skull:

There was also drama at the elephant photoshoot when Joanie accused Sara of copying her poses on the elephant.

Eventually the final 3 came down to Jade, Joanie and Danielle. Jade was eliminated before the final runway and gave us one of, if not THE most iconic exit of all time

Joanie and Danielle both killed the final runway and ultimately Danielle won. This was a very strong top 2 but I think Danielle had taken so many consistently strong photos and endured so much during her time on the show that it was almost a no-brainer to give her the win.

Obviously its no secret, Cycle 3 has taken the top spot, purely for being the the cycle that truly kick-started ANTMs iconic legacy. Cycle 1 & 2 were great, but cycle 3 is when the drama began.

First of all, the casting ep from this cycle was iconic. We had Eva making a name for herself and causing drama on the first day, that one girl who just decided she didnt wanna be there and stomped out, Toccara giving us one of the most iconic entrances ever (miss J was truly shook), that other plus size model Mary who looked basic af idk why she even came back in c4.... and thats just the start..

of course we also met Tiffany for the first time during casting where she got into the iconic bar fight (back in the days when the girls were allowed to go out!). After having a dance off, some local poured her beer all over Tiffany leading them to have a full on glass throwing fight. Tiffany said the iconic line...

Tiffany got sent home but obviously came back for cycle 4 (where she was part of an even more infamous moment :skull:). Also sent home was plus size Mary who spent the entire episode comparing herself to Toccara. Anorexic Amy of whom Eva spent the entire ep calling gross NNNN. Then there was that one girl with the bleach blonde emo hair who went crying on the bathroom floor and Tyra had to go comfort her :skull: you'd NEVER catch Tyra being that nice in later cycles.

Then there was that completely random moment when the first bunch of girls had been cut when Amanda decided to announce she was legally blind :skull:

The final 14 then went straight to Jamaica for a swimsuit photoshoot on some really awkward looking rocks. It was announced that one girl would be eliminated the next morning based on her performance in the photoshoot. Leah was convinced it would be here and made sure she was the one to read the letter telling who the girl leaving was. That girl was Magdalena.. however at panel, Leah got sent home too :skull:

When the girls go to their house in NYC, Ann is upset when she cant share a room with Eva and they have that weird moment where shes crying like "YOU'RE GONNA BE AT MY WEDDING!" (fun fact: she wasn't).

The girls had their makeovers and many people commented on how Amanda changed her personality once she got given he platinum blonde hair. Ann was crying because they cut like an inch off her hair, meanwhile Jennipher who had hair down to her knees got all of hers hacked off and was given some horrible aunty box job golden hair.

At panel that week, Tyra asked Julie why she wanted to be a model. When Julie replied it was to get her into the manufacturing business, she was sent home sksksk

Eva and Amanda start going at it in the hallway and somehow Jennipher and Ann get involved before Jennipher asks why Ann is always up Evas butt. Meanwhile Kristi is on the phone asking them to keep the noise does "as my boyfriend can hear everything you're saying" nnn. Jennipher eventually gets tired and pushes Ann out the way, leaving Ann stood shook.

Then there was stripper Cassie and her bulimia. She had made it no secret that she had an eating disorder and didnt like to eat much. Which is weird considering her one big fight came from her food being tampered with.. Ann and Eva were tired of Cassie leaving her mess all around the kitchen so Ann decided to get a knife and write "clean your s**t" in Cassies freshly baked brownies :skull: This obviously caused a huge drama when the girls went out for dinner. Yaya had her 'respeito' top on and Ann couldn't resist asking her what it meant. Yaya replied "it means respect, there seems to be a lack of it in the house". This went on to Ann admitting to writing in Cassies food, to which Cassie shouted "DONT TOUCH MY S**T" :skull:

Tyra then held this very half-arsed intervention with Cassie and told her she thinks she should see a therapist for her bulimia. Cassie refuses and she gets sent home. In the next ep, Tyra and her mum have a heart to heart where Tyra says she feels 'really bad' for sending Cassie home, her mum reassures Tyra that shes a good person and tried to help :skull:

Another scream was Kelle, who described herself as 'a white girl with a really good tan' :skull: All the other girls started to get tired of her and her pompous attitude and constant bragging about the things she had. She delivered some classic one-liners, like this...

There were also some great photoshoot this cycle, like the one on a trampoline, the kimono one and the iconic tarantula one where Mr Jay introduced a 'special guest' and some ranger woman walked in holding a tarantula to which Eva asked "do you mean her or the spider?" nnnnn

After getting clipped with the industrial clippers in the last ep, Toccara was starting to feel the pressure of the competition and was eliminated, something that Tyra said many years later that she regretted.

The girls went abroad to Tokyo, Japan. Their first task when arriving was to do a campbells soup commercial in Japanese language. Needless to say they were all terrible :skull:

Eva, Ann and Norelle who had called themselves 'pink positive' due to them sharing the pink room in NYC had started to crumble. Ann was starting to get tired of Eva and after Eva throws Norelle under the bus saying she should go home, Ann and Eva have their breakup.

One of the biggest screams from overseas came when the girls had to do a traditional Japanese tea drinking challenge. Everything was so precise and had to be immaculate, and the girls were so messy, especially Norelle.

In the end, the final 2 came down to Eva and Yaya with Eva taking the win. Imo the right decision, Eva could take some amazing photos and had a personality for the entertainment industry. Yaya went on to have a successful acting career.

I've probably missed so many iconic moments from this cycle its hard to think of them all, you'll have to remind me :laugh:
