umm does Thomas have a good social media following? in that case he would tick a box like the ''entrepeneur, influencer'' celebrity slot of course

also i would've signed Elizabeth from apprentice more, or Karthik given they got more ''entertainment, humour'' potential for the show's entertainment quality

but then again i'm sure Judy Murray will not disappoint for the laughs either, she was a good laugh for me on strictly anyway :D

He doesn’t need a social media following. He was one of the biggest characters in one of the BBC’s biggest shows, it’s a good casting for drawing new audiences.

Elizabeth and Karthik were entertaining yes, but they weren’t on the last series, or even the one before that. It’s been years since they were on, it would be a bit ridiculous to sign them up.

him and Jodi i found the best of last night


John's dishes presentation is lacking big time, but for sure he can cook, very nice comfort food

Jodi surprise for me of the evening, very nice dishes (she even had to prepare one dish for the owner of that entire building where the restaurant was in, handled that pressure quite well i thought)


Thomas, very messy but i kinda like him more here than on apprentice :love:

Baga was fine. Not the best but definitely not the worst. Dom should’ve gone home.

I hate on Masterchef how they judge it, they base it purely on the most recent dish but before that they’ve had two whole rounds that literally don’t count for anything.

do i have a fave this round, yes i like what i see so far in Sam's ambitions, greek food overall is quite dry yes but that is why you got tzatziki, salad with that couscous and kufta's, shame about the bread but great her attempting to make that already anyway

i quite like her personality too :love:


as for the boys, Phil is a better cook than Dom for sure, but tbh neither are better than Karen

as for duo's, i hope it's Karen/Sam, Phil/Dom more because i think those would be best matches

respect for Sam last night, chocolate mousse is one of more difficult desserts in masterchef since you don't know if it sets perfectly

also in their duo, the one who messed up more was Karen, like lol her being deaf, and she definitely needs glasses if she can't see how many litres of stock that was :joker:


Phil & Dom as duo, well a good team, however those plates were not a match at all, also putting fish directly in the oven forgetting about the ham :laugh2:

i have huge amount of respect for Amar :love: quite a talented cook despite being blind, also very interesting to see his approach onto cooking, more a lot to do with taste/touch with hands

Felicity is cute :lovedup: she has potential to be a good cook yes

Riyadh deserving winner i guess, i mean i also like a bit of a experimental chef, someone who creates bit of a show on a plate (same what Heston Blumenthal type of chef is who also does some unusual stuff)

I remember Gregg saying they only just finished it before lockdown, so I imagine they maybe cut out a few rounds to make sure it was done and dusted.

They normally have that round where they go abroad and cook something from that culture, a round where they cook for a panel of 3 critics etc, so deffo think they shortened it due to covid.
