EX-Big Brother housemates fear their jobs may be at risk when Channel 4 screens shocking highlights from the original series.

Many who featured in some of the most outrageous scenes now have families and are in respectable employment.

They include Makosi Musambasi who had sex in a hot tub and is now a nurse — and Michelle Bass, who romped under a table.

Those most worried about their scenes being aired have started a WhatsApp group to join forces in a bid to stop the production.

A source said: “The idea of those scenes being replayed now is a nightmare as many of them have respectable jobs and families.

“All the housemates knew what they were signing up for but as it was so long ago, those who shied away from the spotlight have moved on with their lives.

“Some have even changed their names and appearance so they aren’t recognised.”

Big Brother ran on Channel 4 for a decade from 2000. It later moved to Channel 5.

The upcoming E4 series — presented by original host Davina McCall, 52, and Rylan Clark-Neal, 31 — will be called Big Brother: Best Shows Ever Show

A TV insider said: “The show is about celebrating the best bits of one of the UK’s best-loved series so the makers want everyone to be happy.

“The welfare of former housemates is the priority and they are being consulted ahead of the show.”

I don't even think they'll choose those episodes especially if they decline for footage to be shown.

Emma Greenwood and Aaron Frew were mentioned in the article as well so I don’t know if that means they’re trying to stop any episodes featuring them from airing as well?

I fairly often get e-mails from ex-housemates wanting Big Brother related things deleted, so this is understandable.

They're 16 years late with realising ****ing on TV was a bad idea.

But I don't think Michelle's shags came (pardon the pun) during any particularly good episodes so they won't be broadcast.

Excuse you the table shagging episode is a CLASSIC :umm2:, and not just because of the infamous shag

Meh. Not as a standalone episode.

Meanwhile, Aisleyne is the opposite and desperately trying to convince them to broadcast an Aisleyne heavy episode.

Can you tell us whether you decline the requests or have, at any point, done as they asked? :suspect:

I usually do what they ask. It's not much benefit to us to keep things from years back.

It's not that often really, I hear from them, just occasionally.

years ago (but still several years after) I posted a video clip on YouTube on the whole makosi/Anthony thing and it got a lot of views (millions) but I'm kind of inclined to take it down.

What do youse think?

Having worked in the TV and film industry, including one very large reality show in particular, I must add that the "contestants" sign a waiver saying their image on the show and anything that happens therein is property of the producing company. Should anything be aired (that was already aired and widely available on the internet with a quick google search) is all fair game and those contestants wouldn't have a leg to stand on if they decided to pursue any legal action.

It was during the Wedding task which was fabulous throughout.

How come Jack Dee's usually able to prevent footage of him in cbb being shown then?

I’d guess it works differently when it’s celebs taking part, especially given the first two CBBs were done for charity. Les Dennis has also blocked his appearances from being shown, so we won’t be getting any CBB1 or CBB2 in the re-runs.

No real loss there then

1 and 2 are "quiet" in comparison to later ones but they had their value at the time and would be nostalgic to look back on. Les Dennis and Sue Perkins breaking down whilst Goldie bullied Melinda Messenger. :skull:
