Can't wait for Heidi winning that Miss Congeniality title, since really it's obvious Gigi is gonna win the whole thing anyway.

Regardless of the results tonight, I think it was a fine season. It's not top tier, not bottom tier. It was nice, but really I'm lukewarm about this season. It had good moments, talent was there but something felt odd. Missing some wow or iconic moments to me.
I usually rewatch some episodes before the finale, but not this year. I could rewatch all of Heidi's confessionnals though.

Quick straw poll: in the hypothetical scenario that finale spoilers were to leak (even if they were just, say, "so-and-so queen wears a blue dress"), would people want them posted in a separate spoilers thread, or would people rather spoilers were kept away from the forum completely?

I actually feel quite confident about her chances. I can’t see Ru (does he even have the last say these days?) crowning two quirky queens back to back. It make sense for production to save Crystal for an All-Star season considering her popularity, and Gigi lost the crown immediately after the fan reaction to her Madonna-challenge win. She never recovered after that. It reminds me of the rumours that Ginger was supposed to win S7 but some of the fanbase’s vocal dislike for her changed that.

I'd rather not fill this thread with spoilers tbh - this feels like a fun thread for pre-finale speculation and predictions, and I'd worry that spoilers (whether they were true or complete horlicks) would deter people who want to avoid them from being excited about the finale, since there'd inevitably be at least one veiled "I'm so happy/annoyed/horny at that result!" comment left out in the open that would give the whole thing away for everyone

Much much deserved for Jaida! She was strong throughout the whole season and really delivered.
I'm happy Heidi won Miss Congeniality, and Chrystal's solo lipsync was so great. I loved that outfit on the last lipsync.

I'm happy with Jaida's win but it kind of proves that the finale has no bearing really and that Ru just kind of picks who he wants.

Jaida's lip-sync from home was obviously the most predictable, least creative one of the three, and then Gigi obviously won the finale lip-sync. Jaida was literally wearing an orange curtain it was so obvious it was a cheap reveal.

I also feel like it's kind of based on the popularity now, but Crystal couldn't win with the least challenge wins and the basic final lip-sync performance, and Gigi was the least liked going off social media plus they definitely want her to come back and win All Stars, so Jaida was a happy medium.

Jaida killed the final lipsync for sure, Crystal didnt really do much and Gigi's reveals were so tame I didnt even notice them until after :skull:

I screamed when they did the bit for key workers and Nicky said "thank you to the delivery driver from my local indian"

Crystals bird lipsync was something else :skull: I think she knew she wasnt going to win so just had fun with it.

I'm so happy with Jaida winning, she was definitely the most deserving. the other 2 did good but it just feels right having Jaida win. I think the fan backlash definitely hurt Gigi's chances (which is partly Ru's fault for giving her those unnecessary wins)

I’m so happy for her! A queen who you can tell has so much passion for drag and puts so much effort into everything she does.
I feel like when filming and editing they were setting up for a Gigi win, and maybe the fans did have some influence on deciding the winner - but for me Jaida done better on the show anyway despite Gigi’s better “track record”

A good end to a good season. Jaida is one of the strongest, well-rounded winners we have had in a long while.

I really liked all three of DIY-type lip-syncs but didn’t care much for the other two sets tbh. I’m just happy Jaida won.

Just rewatched Chrystal's solo lipsync, and "wtf" is the only thing that comes to mind. But a good "wtf", as in very creative and completely insane.

I'm happy for her, you can tell Jaida is so passionate and driven and overall a great representative.

This finale was the best it possibly could’ve been considering the circumstances. Ru’s look was a damn mess but I came to expect it so it was pretty funny above anything else. I thought every single queen looked absolutely incredible tonight, especially Aiden and Dahlia who absolutely slayed it.

Really enjoyed Crystal’s Nelly Furtado lip sync; incredibly well thought out and completely different to what we came to expect from a finale lip sync. HOWEVER, the crafty nature of it was more reminiscent of something you’d see on a mini challenge so I would have ultimately eliminated her at F3 (especially considering she didn’t provide anything wow for the final final lip sync).

Jaida Essence Hall was my winner pick from the very initial cast announcement so I’m very overjoyed she managed to win. Not since Bob on S8 has my pre-season fav gone on to win the crown. I thought she truly BROUGHT IT in her “at-home” lipsync and managed to outshine both Gigi and Crystal using nothing more than a big fan and some Windows Movie Maker effects :love: Her Survivor lipsync was also light years ahead of the other two so a very well-deserved winner on a very positive, fun and consistent season of Drag Race~

The finale shocked me as it was probably better then last year's final even though it wad filmed virtually :joker: the tribute to jacqueline was so sweet i didn't know about her at all before, she seemed like the sweetest soul.

In terms of lip syncs, Gigi and Jadia both won the first up-close lip-sync in my opinion and they were all a force in the second lip sync I couldn't really find many faults in their performances. The final lip sync was a Jadia win, she bodied the song with emotion and her look was solid, a clear winner so happy :clap1:

As for Gigi, I don't really dislike her as many do, however her privilege position is defiantly noted and she didn't really perform that great in the second part of the season. I agree with her on her confidence stance she can truly turn looks and I don't necessarily think she's cocky.

Thought overall they did a pretty decent job considering all the circumstances.

Jaida definitely deserved to win on the night too, so anyone complaining is clearly bitter! Idk how Crystal managed to make final three though :joker: that Like A Bird lip sync was just odd and I can’t remember a single thing about her Survivor performance.

The Jacqueline tribute made me cry too :sad: so heartfelt and touching. Nina West/Dolly Parton was a cringe mess I would rather never ever think about again.
