With all 50 states participating and 18 countries the 2020 BLM protests is now the largest civil rights movement in world history and that’s in the middle of a pandemic. Important to note when this is looked back upon please remember where you stood.

I haven’t seen anyone on TIBB disagree that black lives matter and everyone has been upset at George Floyds death, I think the vast majority of people are against racism, and so I wouldn’t class it as a bigger civil rights movement in terms of Martin Luther King / The suffragettes in terms of the obstacles faced, all good nonetheless

I’ve seen plenty of posters imply the narrative of “all lives matter” which ignorantly denies the existence of BLM.

No one and I’m not comparing other important historical movements :shrug:. However not much has changed in America since the 1950s movement. Institutional racism is as apparent as ever in the USA.
