Anyone watch this? Would really knock your faith in justice for normal people against the rich and powerful. It's no wonder people are reluctant to come forward in cases like these.

I’ve heard quite mix reviews of this documentary, heard it gives nothing new entirely.

I found it fascinating....unbelievable but believable at the same time. Disgusting how he got away with it for so many years and the lives he ruined.
Worth a watch...

It seems very "fatty" is there a lot of padding or does the material warrant the running time?

Sometimes these things run on and get repetitive but it was all very interesting and very sad. Give it a go...there were so many victims.

Oh, that's good. I was expecting all the focus to be on Epstein.

Yeah, that's my issue with a lot of the true crime docs they are padded out way too much. I'll give it a go.

No definitely not Marsh and I did like that about it, it was very focused on those women, what happened to them and how they're doing now, obviously as well as going in to Epstein himself and also as Rustic mentioned his g/f who I was really shocked about and that she hasn't seemed to be legally brought to task at all

Watched all last night.

I found it both interesting and completely sickening.

I am glad some of the girls got a chance to to make us aware of their stories, and in a way that also showed just how sick and twisted Epstein was imo, both him and Ghislaine Maxwell clearly looked for more vulnerable girls that they could easily manipulate and scare into doing what they wanted.

Talking about Ghislaine....she makes me ****ing sick preying on people like that and she should definitely pay for her part in it as she was as bad as him imho.

It's mad that Ghislaine seems to have fallen off the face of the earth but she's still capable of denying all allegations against her.

Where is she?! Someone must be in contact with her.

It seems like one of those things you have to watch but I'm not sure I could stomach it tbh. I bought Ronan Farrow's book about his investigation into the Hollywood abuses but I've not been able to bring myself to read it yet.

Listening to the victims recount their experiences is pretty grim, tbh. Not an easy watch whatsoever.

Yeah the Sun were offering a big reward for any info about her whereabouts but no one has been able to find herAlso, I dont get how it's legal that Epstein was able to just sign over all his money and assets days before he died and now its untouchable. Surely they could be seized from the brother

How did he make all his money, he wasn’t born into wealth

How did he make all his money, he wasn’t born into wealthIt wasn't 100% clear in the documentary, he was some sort of wall street investor and it seems like there was some shady things going on

What did you make of Chauntae Davies, the 21 year old raped on his Island, then flew to Africa to be his PA, then raped again on return ...introduced her sister who was sent to Spain to be educated who was in turn abused

Yes

I think so, what she claimed that she thought she was the only one being abused didn’t ring true given at times there were many different girls involved at any one time, its unlikely she was the only girl in the Island or on the trip to Africa so she basically pimped out her younger sister to progress herself

Yes they both were. It all seemed strange how the abused would bring friends etc...why would you do that. However these were all vulnerable young girls and I guess the money and promised opportunities were the very things Epstein took advantage of...

I can understand the younger ones, they were poor the cash was appealing and they were paid for bringing them so an easier option than being pawed

I don't understand pimping out your sister though, and claiming you thought you were the only one being abused, her sister not appearing in the documentary either just shows how traumatised she was by it all

The idea that Ghislane appears to be getting away scot free even by the woman, there was little focus on her involvement when she was basically Rose West without the murders is very strange to me

signing over his wealth two days before his death seems to indicate he did commit suicide unless it was just a coincidence, maybe the brother had him snuffed

I would definitely say she blames her, the idea that she 'didn't know' he was abusing anyone else other than herself is very far fetched

She had slithered herself away to Brampton? New Hampshire living in luxury. I wonder what lengths she will go to to get a lighter sentence...bet Prince Andrew is sweating now (cos he can)...
