Carole vs. Nicky

I feel so sorry for Carole, I understand why she was just crying.

And for once, in the whole series so far, I LIKED Charley. She was friendly and supportive to Carole, and seemed genuine for a change.

Nicky is a vile, hateful woman - it's obvious to see: her man-hating is an example of that.

The show was very edited. nicky was been very rude to carole and swearing at geri on the live feed. why the highlight show choose not to show this i don't know.

Nicky is the most annoying thing about this year - I'm sick of her demands to be heard - but not give a damn when someone needs listening too in return! She repeated the same I, I, I, to Gerry but when he said he was upset - crying over the row with chanelle, missing his parents she blanked him - spiteful, moody, self centred .... In a word Agree!

I personally thought Nicky was being reasonable, quite rightly shocked by Carole's massive over-reaction.

I was a bit confused by the whole thing, to be honest. That argument came out of nowhere, and I didn't really understand what it was about! :conf:

I do like Carole, but she lost it there!

I'm a bit dubious about Charley's comforting. It seemed very fake to me, and I wouldn't be surprised if she only acted as the peace-maker so she could get some airtime in a disagreement that she knew would be shown.

I watched the live feed and I saw Nicky calmly talking to Gerry and sorting out what was said that evening before the Carole argument.. I don't rate Nicky but Carole just took that all the wrong way.

I thought Nicky didn't have to say what she said but the way Carole reacted was over the top and she made it out to be a bigger deal then it actually was. She snapped at Nicky when actully Carole could have come out it this looking like the good guy.

Im taking Nickys side because she was having a laugh with Charley then Carole started, Nicky IMO didn't do anything wrong Carole was being nasty i thought.

Nicky always swears and I saw that she also then turned to laura and said ask Gerry what happened.. not me I don't want to be accused of stirring... later on they sat down and both sorted it out.. I don't like Nicky that much at all.. but I'll give her one thing she does go and sort her arguments out with people.. calmly in the end.

carole wayyy over exaggerated that last night. infact, for a change i think nicky dealt with it well. she didnt get into a mad argument instead he walked off on her. if that were me i'd probably go crazy myself. carole didnt have the right to speak to her like that and carole needs to be evicted this week!

The highlights only showed a little of what happened...basically making Nicky look an angel which she isn't. They conviently skipped over the abuse that Nicky said to poor Carole.

If you look at the character of these women they are both very strong fiesty and stand up for what they believe in. I think the argument was totally blown out of proportion because they are stuck together and Carole wants to be in charge of her domain and so doe Nicky.

It was a clash of the titans and inevitable that this was going to happen at some point and that point happened to be when both women were exhausted from the task.

I'm not taking sides. Nicky has some real daemons inside and she needs to deal with them or she will allow herself to be eaten up and never find true happiness - I'm not saying with a man, I'm talking about herself! As for Carole, she needs to stop mothering the gang because she's smothering the HMs and she'll end up being hated and she's although she's a sulky madam, she's not a bad person.

Glad they sorted it out and good to see Charley's friendly side come out but only after she had a pee!!!:laugh2:

The thing with Carole is that she doesn't realise that she is crushing others in the kitchen...she thinks she is being helpful cleaning and cooking etc. As an older housemate someone needed to take the steps in keeping things clean and tidy and there would of been even more rows if someone went for a drink and there were no washed cups etc. Carole is being edited badly by big brother as they seem to want her out this week and I think she has alot more to offer and the fun entertaining Carole will come out again.

Yeah, she thinks shes helping but onyl gettin in others way, but then instead of just telling her they yell at her, she takes it the wrong way and everyone ends up in tears.

I think it needs someone who is diplomatic to sit down and talk it through with her so she can see that taking a back seat is better for everyone. The thing is that too many of the housemates go about it the wrong way and attack her rather than voicing their opinion. After being called a f old hag no wonder she wants nothing to do with Nicky. Nicky is vile, she is always moaning about something and needs to take a good look at herself before even thinking about getting a man. The issues she has needs looking at and she vents her views in all the wrong ways.
