Series 1 highlights show Christmas 2000 - Am I remembering this right?

Did Channel 4 condense each week of BB1 into an hours worth of highlights and show it nightly around Christmas 2000?

I'm sure they did, but can't find an archive of tv listings from that era. That said, the older I get the more I find I'm "sure" of things that simply never happened

CBB didn't start until March 2001 so that must have been a repeat showing of BB1.

Each Saturday of BB1 (and BB2 for that matter) were a recap show that showed highlights of the whole week, it's possible they repeated those?

I don't remember those shows, so it's probable that that's what happened. I remember the Sunday show was always a psych show for the first few years, which I kind of enjoyed

Can't believe it's 20 years since the days when you had to choose between switching to E4 for the second half of BBLB or remain on C4 for The Simpsons
