Do you have one? Do you find them good? Do you reach your 10k steps most days?
Just got one today, this fella here :

Will it help you?
I hope so, I'm back to work in the office now so I hope it will help to remind me to walk around a bit more instead staying at my desk all day

I've never had one personally, but known a few people who have & it's out by about 300 calories or so re: your TDEE.
Maybe it even varies, but for me it worked best not using one and using other apps lol

I've linked it to myfitnesspal so i'll see how it goes, if nothing else though it should make me more conscious about getting up and moving around a bit more during the day at work
i have an apple watch and love it. It definitely makes you more conscious of the exercise you do or don't do, which I think is the main point.
I was at an exhibition a couple of years ago, and I walked 18 miles in the venue in 1 day

I had one in 2015 and got bored of it after like 3 days
There’s a pedometer on my phone anyway

I've got the same one Niamh. I just use for the step counter mainly as I don't always carry my phone everywhere with me.

It's fine for counting steps/recording exercise etc. but there's no such thing as an accurate calorie counter, there are FAR too many variables involved.

I don’t own one I use my phone as one though.
Basically changed my life for the better - by hitting 10k steps minimum every day (and with tracking what I eat) I’ve managed to lose 150 lbs since last Summer!

I have bought two now for my other half and she loves it before she was wearing Michael kors watches. But would not go back
They have actually saved people’s lives and I know one person in particular.

I usually walk over 5k steps before 9am on my daughter's school run but now thanks to the Covids I just sit on my butt drinking coffee until 11am and have gained nearly a stone in 3 months :fist:. Who knew that exercising less and eating the same amount would lead to weight gain? Certainly not me!
Thankfully Piers doesn't mind and I'm tall and broad enough to carry the extra padding. I am sort of concerned about what will happen if schools don't go back in August though :worry:. Some might say, "just do more exercise at home", or "stop putting so much cream in the coffee you fat ****", but neither of those are realistic solutions are they.

In June I did 452,531 steps
I was ranked 69,317 out of 14,710,000 total Samsung Health users
Just under 15,000 steps every day

:laugh2:
Yeah Covid aftershock inspired me to buy one tbh, I need to lose a stone and a half
I love my fitbit
Hit between 20k and 23k steps per week day, less at weekends
I find it accurate for step counting not so much bothered about the cals but I've heard it can be out a bit
The female health is also very accurate, infact its pretty bang on for me personally
