He’s such a repugnant unabashed racist, he should never be allowed a platform to spew his bile again.
Darren Grimes shows himself to be a prize racism enabling twat again in the process, awful people.

He's a moron.
There's plenty of countries on this earth that would disagree that the empire only had a few 'downsides'. It was a vicious regime that left it's scars on history and upon the people it trampled on. Too many people celebrate the empire as this crowning glory for Britain when it should be one of our biggest shames.

There's no excuse for his racist comments. The Empire had more than a "few downsides", but to be fair it's a bit of a case of "what have the Romans ever done for us"

Do you want to rethink that? Does the tweet happen without the racism?

‘White loves don’t matter, as white lives’
As in, white lives have never had to fight to the right to be recognised or be considered as equal, or worry about their stance in society.
If you’re gonna quote, at least use full ones.
that was clearly not a one off comment, it rolled of the tongue too easily. So, the question I would ask is why have his colleagues let him get away with it for years

Nothing triggers racists more than the idea of non-white people truly being their equal which is why so many of them equate black lives matter with white genocide. They don't want to give up their false sense of superiority.

Darren is a crybaby, he got caught out now he’s playing the victim, he’s a failed hairdressing student who’s found a niche in the market that appeals to his incessant need for attention and approval, I can’t wait until he’s chucked back into irrelevance where he belongs.

after losing two university jobs for saying slavery
was not genocide because there
are still 'so many damn blacks' around]

So establishments and organisations can only cut ties with people if they're alive...but if a long dead benefactor they're beholden to honour that persons image in marble or bronze without question?
