[Police say the vehicle had been on the
wrong side of the road and the driver
sped off when asked to stop.]

The were Asked to get of the Car
but refused?
Why not get out of the Car.
Stay Calm. etc.

[British sprinter Bianca Williams and her
partner have accused the Metropolitan Police
of racial profiling and acting violently towards them.
European and Commonwealth relay gold medallist
Williams, 26, and Portuguese 400m record holder
Ricardo dos Santos were stopped in a vehicle in London.
They fear they were targeted because they are
black and drive a Mercedes.]

....no concern over the conduct of the officers...but lots of concern over the conduct of those in the car...driving off at speed in a car with blacked out windows...and on the wrong side of the road and not complying when police stopped them...and yet no charges made..?...hmmmmm...

I'm sorry but they broke the law, and not just that but they were also endangering other people's lives with their reckless behaviour.

They're lucky that they weren't charged.

Maybe they should try driving properly with non-tinted windows?

...that’s it though, with all of those potential charges plus the smell of marijuana in the car but no roadside test done...why so lucky, why weren’t they charged...we don’t know that any laws were broken, surely because no charges were made...

If anything, the only "racial profiling" was letting them off because arresting a black person for anything short of murder would probably cause more trouble than it's worth, and they were still moaning about being asked to follow the rules...

That is such a ridiculous statement to make, it's obscene.

Okay then I'll put it another way - they were speeding(?) up the wrong side of the road with tinted windows, and the cops thought they could smell weed. Which part of that makes police intervention unreasonable?

...it really is odd with the reasons the police gave that no charges were actually made...maybe no laws were actually broken...

How can you racially profile someone through a tinted out window?
