As we all know one housemate will tonight be awarded with £100,000 to make them think thats the 'actual' prize money, what does everyone make of the twist?

Not too sure really, as it doesn't seem that exciting yet - I suppose it's interesting that just the one housemate will be £100,000 better off without winning it and will have to live with it. Aside from that though, I did expect more from tonight.

We don't know the full story yet, so I'm not gonna vote until later... it's turning out ok though, so far.

I think secret rooms are getting a little boring now, though. No more secret rooms..

I think this money should be £50,000 and they should have to leave the house, and ther should still be £100,000 for the winner.

It's an OK twist.

It is actually quite a good twist, what makes it merely OK is the fact it was done so early on in the series. It should have been left until later on. This could prompt walkouts.

I don't think it's a good twist to be honest.I always feel that winner should just be the one to get the money at the end of it.This might also jeopardise the chances of winning for the person who gets the money.

Thats what i thought, Chanelle/laura is favorite to win, and if one of thoses housemates who go to the diary room and win the 100,000 that could jepordise there chnces of winning as they already have 100,000!

Its pretty similar to the BB6 twist when Eugene got 50K. I'm hoping there is more to it. Newspapers and Heat hinted at a secret room being introduced so fingers crossed. If it is a case of one housemate getting 100K and that's it then it would be pretty disappointing.

I love it, it will change the dynamics of the whole house now they think the prize fund is gone! will be interesting to see new personalities emerging now they are just there for publicity and what it can bring to them!

I think it's extremely clever. The changes in peoples personalities and gameplans is going to be huge now, I think it's probably Big Brother's greatest twist ever, so far.

Before they were trying to win some money, but now they've got to change their gameplan to work out how to get something out of the show with the prospect of the prize money gone.

It made the money seem like it had no worth at all! How can the same amount or even anything along the lines of the prize for winning the whole show be given out with so little thought! Who cares about the opinions of the 3 least liked (nominations wise) HM! Why are they fit to judge!? Why is anyone in the house fit to judge!? Plus so what if liam is nice, since when did that earn anybody £100,000 for a couple of days work???

It really didn't help matters with Carole walking around in that bizarre, excessivly depressing mood.

I was really liking this series. I know a lot don't like the all girl thing but I really did. Plus how cool is twins! :thumbs2: But now this will always stick out and make it seem crappy. :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

It really comes to something when HMs found it harder to pick someone to take their punishment than they did to give away the 'prize money'. :rolleyes:

I think alot depends on how the housemates react over the next few days and if it is easily forgotten or is a key topic for the housemates. On initial impressions I thought the twist was rubbish.

Absolute bloody crap. I really didn't think that BB would just give away 100K. I can't believe 100K has just been given to someone who has been in the house for 5 days... such a ridiculous ''twist''... it's not even a ''twist''... absolute tripe. Hate it.

But hey, if BB have 100K to throw about like that then that's upto them. But they could have used it over a period of a few weeks - the housemates could have actually ''earned'' the money - tasks etc.

Terrible twist. The housemates will probably speculate there is more money in the till for a winner to get.......

Even if they were convinced that the prize money had gone they won't walk. They know the longer they can say they can get a prize by selling stories.

The housemate getting the money should have at least earned it by winning a task set for all of them.......

I think the best twist would have been to offer all of them 10,000 each to leave the house and start with a fresh housemates for each one that leaves.

Frankly the only ones I would like to see stay there are Chanelle and the twins.........

The only regret I have is that the producers decided to move the shot too quickly from Charley's face to Liam's when it was announced he'd got the money.
