Feeling so sad today,lost my beautiful boy Teddy yesterday,hes been my companion for 15/16 years,Im so very gutted , RIP my fur baby,miss you so much :bawling::bawling::bawling:

Thankyou for the lovely comments,they are comforting,he was an old boy but he's left such a gap in our lives, my little boy Jude fell to his knees and cried it was awful to watch,but we've told him he has gone to Rainbow Bridge and is pain free and playing with the others dogs we have lost , but blimey it cuts like a knife,heartbroken to be honest. Our other little dog is not eating now either,I just hope thats him just missing his buddy . Thanks again.xx

Teddy has had the happiest of lives living with such a loving family, so many wonderful memories to hold on to.

It probably is, I remember when one of our Dogs Sophie died, our other dog Curly (who's now dead too :( ) got so depressed, everyday when I put his food out he would look over to where Sophie used to be having her food next to him. I don't think he was ever the same after she died

We have always had a cat and like any animal its a loss when you lose them. We are thinking of getting a dog in the future...cats are independant and they all have different characters and some more affectionate than others. However dogs really become your companion and friend more so than a cat...so I can imagine the loss is far greater.

My cat is more needy than my dog tbh, follows me around the house, always wants to be up on my lap if I sit down

...that’s the thing, they’re so different like we all are...my son has two, a boy and a girl...the boy is a teddy bear who just wants to have hugs all day and the girl is an independent lady who turns her nose up at everyone...(...although she’ll have a hug as well on her terms...)...

That’s so sad .. our little pooch has recently started to show signs of ageing and it’s a concern .. he’s having days were he’s not interested in eating .. not even stuff like chicken !

We took him for blood tests costing £120 but they came back all clear which is great in one respect but kinda worrying non thx less .

He’s such a lovely dog and for him to live for 15 years goes to show that he lived a very long and happy life. Very sorry for your loss Kazanne, it’s always sad when we lose one of our pets since like many others have mentioned previously they are family. :love:

Which they do in abundance.
