Jail for typing words on a screen is utterly ridiculous. The rest is basic "cancel culture". Plenty of people -celebs or otherwise- have lost jobs or platforms due to their big mouths.

As for loss of awards? Not entirely sure. At the back of my mind I feel like some rewards have been revoked? I don't know if it's par, people who tweet like that aren't usually award winners :laugh:

I sometimes wonder if humans are just ****ing awful. I mean, there's mounting evidence. I'm not going to lie and pretend that historically, and in the west at least white people haven't done a lot of the horrible... but then, white people had the power to do so. Maybe humans are just generally despicable creatures and that comes out when we get a little power over others.

I'm not saying there aren't good people out there but as a group, we're honestly pretty grim.
