I hate being called 'hun' and when people start a sentence with 'so' and also when people say a bit of liquid , it's a drop , you can't get a bit of liquid .

Kazanne only said starting the sentence with 'so'.

Actually I think I sometimes do myself however.
I'll be possibly getting ticked off by her.

I'm quite snobby about alcohol I guess as well. Don't drink lager a lot but if I do it needs to be a premium beer like Morreti or Estrella, baffles me how people can drink stuff like Carlsberg or Fosters as their usual. Would never drink cider either if they only have stuff like Strongbow available or stupid fruity ones. Even with ale I don't really drink it but would still judge someone for wanting something like Doombar if there were nice local ales on

Not sure if I'd term it snobbery, it's more I just don't like anything they sell.

I avoid Gregg's like the plague.
I just don't like even going in the place for to get things for others.

I also don't like Subway either.
The smell in that place puts me off eating.

omg same on both points!! Grammar nazis should be strung up by their own dick..tionaries, but people who say "could of" or "should of" should have their typing fingers remove.

If we’re talking language wise, ‘I could care less’ being used to described how unbothered someone is, it’s not right, stop it immediately, winds me right up.

Will you borrow me a tenner? No but I will lend you one.
Will you learn me to drive? No but I will teach you

Loan sharks and bookies used to take people's limbs as "payment" if they defaulted on their repayments, that's what that phrase comes from!

Oh and this one as well, saying "Do" instead of "Does" eg :

Oh god, reminds me of someone I used to date. He'd ask questions, but leave out words like what/when/who etc. "time did you wanna meet?" "was that actor you were talking about?" etc

if he was EAL I could understand it, but he wasn't. Drove me up the tree.

Actually I came across one I'd heard before too which has always made me want to question the term.

Someone said when I gave them something.

I scratch my head as to how terribly and good are a good combination.

Well the Mrs. Doyle thing is true, that's why it was funny on Fr Ted because that always happens. When I was going au pairing in Boston years ago, I went with a group and beforehand we had to do first aid courses and things like that. One of the classes was on cultural differences and that was one thing they actually brought up, if you ask someone if they want something to eat/drink and they say no, don't keep asking, they mean no :hehe:

I think that one is a bit regional, people in Cork generally don't use it. I would say more Donegal and Northern Ireland more so?

I don't know if this is snobbish, per say, but I'm really funny about people's voices. I get increasingly so as the years go on. In real life they don't bother me so much, but the amount of youtubers I can bear listening to has plummeted :joker: I was never especially into being talked at through a webcam, but now I can't even have them on in the background. There are some films and tv shows I have to have really quiet with subtitles too :joker:

In the summer, being anywhere indoors that doesn't have air conditioning - even if there's a fan or something it's just usually insanely too hot/stuffy inside in the summer heat. I'd much rather be in the heat outside where I at least feel more fresh air :joker:

(I'd be a major snob about it in the UK from what I hear about ac or lack of :skull:)
