I thought she might like some pretty cotton underwear. Not slutty but nice.

But then I'll have to ask her size and it won't be a surprise.

Judge it smaller than you think she is and give a gift receipt or say you will exchange if not the right size :D:

Underwear seems a bit of a weird gift to get a partners parent, although it's obviously a bit different for a dude buying it than a female, especially if it's crotch-less :smug:

If lockdown is coming back, especially up t'north, how about one of those portable air con units? DVD box set?

Well you can if she is a recovering alcoholic with diabetes and a flower allergy

...underwear is so personal and it’s also that thing with sizing, the size has to be accurate...what about flowers and a voucher for an underwear selling store....?...so she can choose her own...or an ‘IOU’ voucher to go shopping together ?...

Do you know her favourite type of chocolate?? I'd probably say just ask your bf what it is if you don't already know & buy her something like that. Chocolate is always a good/safe option imo

If you're too old for kids, your bf's mum must be ancient, so maybe some Worther's Original?
