Wherever you live, or have visited that stood out to you... do share :dazzler:

I have been to a LOT in the UK (and a few out of), but the ones that stand out to me:

Favourites: London (literally BEAUTIFUL place, even some of the trashy areas you get SO MUCH FUN (who are always up for a laugh, genuinely great/fun people to hang out with). I've visited the entire BEST and WORST parts of the city and I've got to say both are amazing. Gahhhh I've made so many friends over the years :flutter:

Birmingham is GREAT too. I also REALLY enjoyed Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Liverpool, Chester and Leeds(AMAZING shopping centre) (from everything I experienced there)

Least favourites: Hmmm this is difficult because I haven't been to many BAD places but the only one that stands out for me is Manchester. The people there were soooo rude (in almost EVERY place my friend & I went to lol) and in general like the area is such a vile/disgusting place. That is based off of the city centre though, maybe it's different for other areas idk

Favourite: Nottingham - I just have great memories there from uni and family moving there afterwards. My best friends live here also

Least: Manchester - the people from my experiences have been very rude

OOOOF yeah damn I forgot Nottingham!!! I didn't spend long there at all but wow... such a beautiful place/city (reminded me a little bit of a smaller Birmingham actually) and it SLAYED :clap1:

I think if I'd lived there for longer it would deffo be in my top 5 places tbh

AHHHHHHHHHH :joker: It's so true

I know SO many people in London and I think like 5% at the very most are actually from there

I've never been to Newcastle before

I've been to Glasgow and Edinburgh before. Both were nice but idk if I would live there

I would only lower myself to live in London when it comes to the UK

Fave: Liverpool - fantastic nightlife, really friendly locals and really inexpensive for a city. I might be biased as I live here for uni but I just adore it.

Least: I don’t dislike any I’ve visited but I found York pretty boring - the nightlife was tragic too. It’s cute for being a tourist for a day but I’d leave it there.

I think the UK is a fantastic place in terms of cities. My top five (in no order):

London
Brighton
Edinburgh
Bath
Manchester.

I think I’m one of few people who loves both London and Manchester :p The city that comes to mind in terms of not liking is Newcastle but I get why people enjoy it there. Just not for me, personally.

Oxford might pip Bath, though.

Oh god, loads. I loved Clapham/Balham cause I lived near that area. Bermondsey, Brixton (sometimes :p), Dalston and Shoreditch were great. I’m a sucker for Central London, too. Even though it’s touristy I could walk and walk for ages. This time last year I worked right next to St. James’ Park which was ideal cause the weather was lovely. How about yourself?

I really liked Canal Street when I last went to Manchester. I’ve also been to Old Trafford Centre a few times and really liked it there for shopping.

Least fave: Manchester.

COME THROUGH!

I've traveled a lot in my life, but I will give it a try.

Faves: Marseille, Saint Petersburg, London, Paris, Montreal.
Least: that's a tough one because I always try to see the good in every place I travel to. But I will say Pristina in Kosovo, even though I liked it but there's a lot of work to be done. But the people are very nice.

And just for the UK, I will say London, Bath, Birmingham, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Cornwall.

It's not, that's a lie. If there's gang crime it's only in the northern area where it's really poor. All other areas are safe, and we're the second biggest city in France for a reason

Marseille was lush when I went (2007). Lovely city, very classy feel to it and the harbour is beautiful.

maybe not Aberdeen

:umm2:Aberdeen is on average the wealthiest city in the entire UK (all that oil dollah) - yes including London - and has the highest disposible income by a mile (because cost of living is low compared to other wealthy cities)...

... And yet... It manages to be both incomprehensibly boring, and ****ing ugly to boot. It's really quite an achievement.
