As a scientist I thought I’d create some discussion topics?
What is your favourite science?
I haven’t included social sciences like psychology or sociology, as they are exactly that social sciences (not physical science).
- Biology
- Geology (earth science)
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Astronomy (Space science)
Have included geology and astronomy as they are large areas that do not fit within other areas completely
Phone typo with chemistry

I was an immunologist scientist and always found that interesting when studying. I also have work published within parasitology and evolutionary biology, and so I have chosen biology

I'm a #natureboy so Biology, natch.
But physics is interesting, and chemistry is fun.

I liked physics the best in school, hate biology and chemistry.

Mathematics is what my first class BSc is in.
Unfortunately the 3 core sciences at my school lacked decent teachers so I was never able to truly get into any of them
I hated physics it was always the most boring one.. maybe I just had boring teachers idk
Biology was alright but chemistry was always the best in school, getting to mess around with the chemicals and bunsen burners :skull:

I was good enough. But coming from a northern comprehensive where the teachers literally crushed ambition as egotism, I settled for University of Manchester.
Not bitter at all haha. tbh as a big shot in london now i cannot really complain.

Well, either way I boff my cap to you, sah!
Maths is really not my thing. I had to pass an online test in order to get onto my teaching course, and I had to memorise so many shortcuts and "cheats" it's really not fair I breezed it, haha. As I work in a behaviour school most of the maths is at KS2 level - thank god! I'm "only" a TA with cover duties so maths can go hang most of the time

In school biology was the best for me, had a really enthusiastic great teacher Who got you really involved.
Physics I just found mind numbingly boring and difficult and the chemistry teacher was vile so I couldn’t have cared less about those two back in the day!
I enjoyed Chemistry and Biology at school, but my fave is probably Biology.
HATE PHYSICS
Biology at school because the teacher was cool.
Since leaving I would say chemistry

ALL sciences are physics if you boil 'em for long enough.

ALL sciences are physics if you boil 'em for long enough.
All scientists are chemicals if you dissolve 'em for long enough.
