What do you prefer doing? Texting or calling?

Texting usually, well it depends who it is I suppose. I only put do not disturb on my phone when I'm going to sleep

I prefer texting for conversation but phone for convenience. I've started calling people for work purposes more too because no one checks their gad demm emails.

Don’t people systematically go through their emails anymore...did I miss the memo saying you no longer need to reply...going to start doing it myself as it seems perfectly acceptable...even my boss does it :umm2:

Both.
Call to my Mum.
Obviously in my work too.

Text otherwise.

Although e mail is my preference except on really urgent matters.

Copping out of what? I’m hardly gonna call someone for something unimportant

Obviously it depends... nobody is gonna call to be like "oh btw I saw _ today and we were talking about _" lol

Something important, obviously

With my family and friends I will literally sit there watching my phone ring then text straight back asking 'what is it?'

I will answer if it's an official or important call

Texting, I hate speaking on the phone.

It depends.....at work, I prefer to ring. If its something that needs actioning quickly I hate having to wait for an answer. If its having to tell a client something they are not going to like, I find they are less likely to go off on one if I'm actually talking to them and apologising. I'm the only one in my office that thinks that though...everyone else would rather email them avoid answering the phone so I get it in the neck anyway

Friends, we usually text unless its some really good, or really bad news to tell each other.

I used to sit talking on the phone for hours to my friends though...it used to drive my parents mad

Calls for work, appointments and my mum.
Texts/Messenger/Whatsapp for everything else.
Facetime with my husband when him or I are on business trips.

Depends! I'm a bit of a curmudgeon when it comes to technology :joker: I just can't be bothered with "small talk" conversations over texts or IMs, so if someone just wants a chat I'll probably call. If it's making plans I'm happy enough with a "this place at this time" type thing
