'Around the world in 80 private jets' and other adventures: PIERS MORGAN presents a hilarious sneak preview of the woke TV the world can expect from Meghan and Harry's $150million Netflix deal
………...what they have inspired is me to now cast a crystal ball and look into the future to imagine the kind of hyper-woke, self-serving productions that I look forward to seeing on Netflix from Megxit Productions:

1) HOW TO HAVE YOUR ROYAL CAKE AND EAT IT - An inspiring and educational film in which the Sussexes throw vegan tea (Echinacea, obviously!) parties at their palatial Santa Barbara mansion for random strangers and explain how to milk (Almond…obviously!) the Royal Family brand name for massive financial gain.

2) AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 PRIVATE JETS - A lavish travel docu-series in which we follow the Duke and Duchess around as they bang on endlessly about the environment, saving the planet and the urgent need to reduce one's carbon footprint during live broadcasts filmed aboard their famous friends' private jets. Cameos from George Clooney, Sir Elton John and bankers from JP Morgan.

3) THE BROTHER GRIMM - An animated children's film depicting a fierce sibling rivalry between a saintly, much-misunderstood sensitive caring hero named Harry who never does anything wrong and his evil older brother William who has the audacity to think being the heir to the throne gives him some kind of entitlement to be treated differently, and even worse, had the bloody gall to suggest Harry think hard about marrying an ultra-woke, fame-hungry, much older American C-list actress divorcee social climber with a history of dumping people.

4) MEAT THE PARENT FOCKERS - A horror movie reboot of the popular comedy movie franchise starring the heroine's father Thomas – played by Robert de Niro – who gets disowned for daring to do exactly what his daughter did and collude with paparazzi, and ends up suffering a grisly demise when furious Meghan throws him into a meat-packing mincer during an angry reunion. She immediately blames the incident on the 'racist media'.

5) THE FROWN – A regal drama sequel to The Crown in which a rogue asteroid hits Sandringham during Christmas lunch, wiping out the top tier of the Royal Family, and meaning Harry and Meghan – who snubbed the holiday to be on Oprah's yacht instead - finally become King and Queen. Unfortunately, having got what they so badly craved, they spend so much time whining about everything ('The gold-plated Buckingham Palace toilet seats don't have enough gold in them!) and greedily exploiting their new-found status (Meghan is caught selling 'boring' royal art on eBay) that the British public rises up in fury and demands Prince Andrew replaces them as Monarch to reintroduce some integrity to the throne.

6) KEEPING UP WITH THE SUSSEXES – A Kardashian-style 24/7 fly-on-the-wall reality show featuring Harry and Meghan as two very private people leading very private lives with lots of scenes involving their son Archie who they want to keep very private.

7) FROGMORE COTTAGE – An enthralling Downtown Abbey style period drama set inside the lavish walls of the Sussexes' home in England where a huge privileged family spend the entire time plotting against each other and settling endless petty scores.

8) IS MEGHAN OK? - A powerful mental health documentary filmed at the height of the pandemic when health workers earning a pittance were dying in their droves trying to save lives. It features Meghan, wearing a suit of armor once worn by Joan of Arc, sitting inside billionaire star Tyler Perry's Beverly Hills mansion, being served chilled champagne by a butler, as Harry washes her laundry, asking the one burning question everyone in the world was asking as Covid-19 ran riot – 'WHY DOES NOBODY ASK MEGHAN IF SHE'S OK?'

9) WOKE ME UP BEFORE YOU GO GO - A musical about a ginger-haired teetotal kale-munching pop star named Harry Prince that falls for a fame-hungry B-list actress who forces him to abandon his family and country, wokes him to within an inch of his life, and then dumps him for Leonardo DiCaprio when he offers her co-star role in Titanic 2.

10) I DON'T WANT TO BE A VACUOUS CELEBRITY ANY MORE, GET ME OUT OF HERE – Harry finally grows a pair big enough to escape his woke hell, comes home, plays naked billiards, re-joins the Army and marries one of the dim blonde Young Conservatives that his brother told him he should marry in the first place.

Maybe we could a get a reboot of I Wanna Marry "Harry" with the real Harry.

Obviously they would have to get a divorce but money is money at the end of the day.

:hehe:

He likes smart ladies though. South African Chelsey Davey (law degree, businesswoman) was Harry’s first love of 6 years. He wanted to marry her and live a quiet life in his beloved S.Africa, but she turned him down in the end. He always said she was the love of his life - before he met Megs of course. Couldn’t risk it afterwards, she might cut off his nads with a rusty bread knife….:hee:

NETFLIX is to screen a tacky musical about Princess Diana — after signing up her son Harry and his wife Meghan in a £112million deal.

In the show the Queen calls the tragic princess a “tart”, while another scene sees Diana in bed with James Hewitt.
Her former bodyguard Ken Wharfe tonight urged Harry to get the musical pulled.

The musical also sees the Queen say to Diana: “In the old days we would have chopped off your head.”
The streaming giant is to air the sordid show despite signing Di’s son Harry and wife Meghan in the mega deal.

However, Harry was facing calls last night to stand up to his new TV paymasters and get Diana: A New Musical pulled.
The stage show details the breakdown of Charles and Diana’s marriage with swathes of vulgar dialogue and scenes of fiction…….

…...The show was previewed in New York in March — with theatregoers promised a tale about a “fearless princess who became timeless”.
However, a planned Broadway run was cancelled amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Netflix now plans to record it again this month at a New York theatre and broadcast it next year.

Ken Wharfe, 72, Diana’s former bodyguard, last night said Harry could now call on Netflix to ditch the “abhorrent” musical.
He said: “The Diana musical, soon to be premiered on Netflix, presents a huge dilemma to them both. If the critics are to be believed, this musical story is not a joyous journey of love with a happy ending but an episodic account of untruths, scandal and sex.

“Harry loved his mother dearly and has spoken of her in such loving detail recently.
“He now has the chance, irrespective of his lucrative deal with Netflix, to stand alone from his wife and make clear his abhorrence of such a musical and call Netflix to account.

“If he were to do this, his fading popularity would be guaranteed a huge resurgence.”
Representatives for Netflix and Meghan and Harry did not respond to requests for comment.

Absolutely.
Harry despised the press for exploiting his mother for profit - yet he makes a deal with Netflix who are exploiting his mother for profit.

But the price is right I guess, just like when he got paid megabucks by bankers to make a speech about how her death affected him.

AMANDA PLATELL: Meghan Markle will make millions for herself - but Camilla will make a difference to the world

When, more than a year ago, the Duchess of Cornwall first bravely spoke out in this newspaper about the horrors of domestic violence, I doubt I was alone in wondering: What could she possibly understand about it?
And yet through her quiet and diligent work as patron of the charity SafeLives, Camilla has done more than anyone to highlight the plight of abused women.

Yesterday, writing in The Guardian, she pointed out how lockdown has caused a huge increase in the torment suffered by those trapped in these relationships.
‘Abusers work from home,’ SafeLives chillingly warns. There is nothing self-aggrandising about supporting this cause. Domestic violence is gritty and ghastly: one of the least glamorous subjects for which any royal could campaign.
Yet it could still save lives: and Camilla is clearly sincere when she implores people to ‘reach in’ if they suspect someone is a victim, not to wait for them to reach out.
Needless to say, there are no multi-million pound TV deals in this line of work.

In her dogged way, Camilla is following a long tradition of royal women — the Queen, Princesses Diana and Anne, the Duchesses of Wessex and Cambridge — who undertake charity work that is mostly unseen and unsung.

How different is the path chosen by the woman who still takes care to call herself the ‘Duchess of Sussex’ and served the Royal Family for all of two years before she decamped to Los Angeles.

As Meghan and hapless husband Harry revealed in a toe-curlingly woke statement, their new multi-million-pound deal with Netflix will ‘shine a light on people and causes around the world . . . creating content that informs but also gives hope’.
The truth is Meghan knows that if she’d stayed in the Royal Family, she could have done all those things.

But there might not have been such an enormous pay packet for being the self-appointed saviour of the universe.

This former ‘briefcase girl’ on Deal Or No Deal has now become a money-grubbing, international laughing stock.
How I wish Meghan had taken the time to learn something from Camilla, who was once the most vilified woman in Britain.

Yet through hard work, duty and, dare I suggest, a sense of humour and a level of self-awareness that Meghan can only dream of, Camilla has gradually transformed herself into someone most of us respect and admire.
Is it too late for Meghan to do the same?

Ahh so all Harry and Megan had to do to get on the scummy UK press's good side was put up with them and quietly get on with their work for multiple decades never speaking out, and THEN they'd get some respect.

Well ****.

Camilla was vilified because she was Charles’s mistress, the old bat who took Diana's prince away from her, and the public loved and then lost Diana.
Why on earth do you think Meghan would have needed decades to gain the public’s respect?
Yes, Harry himself said she was well versed in what would be expected of her by himself, the Queen and palace aides. That she would not only be marrying him, but taking on a new job. She was welcomed by the people who were delighted for Harry.

Then her huge ego manifested itself when she announced she was going to modernise the monarchy. Staff were left in tears by her imperious attitude. She went through 4 Nanny’s before Archie was 9 months old ffs! She seemed to go out of her way to rub people up the wrong way. Yes, the press gave her a hard time, but they scrutinised all the young wives in their time and Meghan gave them gift after gift on a plate.
But all this could have been seen as teething problems and could have been turned around quickly enough is she so desired, by yes, quietly getting on with her work for her charities and patronages. Isn’t that what she is always on about, wanting to do good for the world? What better way to do it than in a 'firm' that has so many advantages at its disposal?

But it’s been widely believed for some time by those who would know better than you or I that she and Harry were planning their move to LA as long ago as during their engagement. She had no intention of staying in the UK, and the negative press would be a good excuse to get to LA and make loadsa money, live life among the A listers, and at the same time be seen as a victim.
....and there she is, in LA, living among the A listers and making loadsa money with a Netflix deal and seen as a victim.
She played a blinder.

...if she had not been Meghan, do you mean, Annie...if she had been more Kate or Camilla or Anne or Sarah or etc...I just cant gel with ‘comparisons’ in that way...it’s so like a parent saying to their child...why can’t you be more like your brother/your sister/your cousin etc...which is effectively saying you’re not good enough being you....whatever their decisions bring them, I’m glad that they’re both remaining true to themselves and not living the one life they have, for others...

Imagine that, in your place of work, there arrives a new lower ranked and much less experienced ‘executive’, newly married to the bosses son.
Uncaring of what the boss or anyone might think, she states that she is going to modernize the firm she has just joined.
She then goes on to ignore the rules of the particular workplace. She makes those in lower positions than herself cry with her demands and attitude. They then leave because they can’t work with her.

She is jealous of your higher position, gained by many many years of hard work, loyalty and scrutiny; she feels she should be on a par with you.
She gets fed up with people bad mouthing her moves, so decides the job isn’t for her after all.
So she writes out her resignation, stating that she expects the firm to still pay part of her salary, retain her company car and all the other perks even though she won’t be working for it anymore.
Off she goes, taking the hapless bosses son with her.
That person sounds just like Meghan. :fan:

If he was not part of the royal family no one would be interested in that pair of no bodies.

Thats not true...many of them have a job in one form or another its just its not publicised.

Yes, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie for example don't receive any public money and have their own jobs. The taxpayer doesn't pay for their security either.

The Royals who receive taxpayers money work incredibly hard. Have you any idea what they do, day in day out, mostly without publicity and fanfare?

No I don't... tell me what they do to live in the estates they live in the homes, the cars, the staff, the land..Tell me, what do they do? I'm very interested.

See Kates yearly engagements above.
Tell me, what do Meghan and Harry do to live in a massive LA mansion with 16 bathrooms? What did they do to get a megabuck Netflix deal?
Not a thing - they left the daily slog of the royals to 'make their own way' then used their royal status to get a job which they have no experience in and which others will mainly do for them. Netflix bought their 'name', not their 'work'.

:fan:Imagine that someone would describe marrying into a family in terms of "being a new low-ranker in a place of work" and new in laws as "boss executives".

At least I'm starting to understand your mindset when it comes to the Megan stuff. Pieces starting to fit together.

And why do you think he got the Netflix deal?

It’s on the back of his name, nobody would give him a deal like that if was not for his name and Meghan would not be getting a deals if she had not married him.

They don’t care about poor minority’s they have jumped on the bandwagon using other people’s suffering to feather their own nest.

Because they sell more using these people.

When you marry into the royal family you are not marrying into a normal family.

There where clear expectations of what it involved.

And yes it is about pecking order and Meghan was not going to be top dog.

The queen is the boss and everyone one else has a role to play.

Right, and Harry himself has made it very clear that he (as an individual) does not like and does not want that sort of family life, and so has taken steps to move away from the Royal Tribe. I think it's quite insulting to his intelligence to suggest that he didn't know he had chosen to marry a partner who didn't "fit the mould" and there's plenty of pre-Megan evidence that he's always been a square peg in a round hole in the Royal family.

So what you're describing isn't a "job environment" at all, because if you don't like your job and the corporate structure, you're free to leave that job and find another path without being vilified for it. Apparently, the Royal Family is a job that you have to accept, politely, and never dare try to quit?

And people are suggesting this is a good thing?

Probably because its the Daily Mail and their commenters have significantly impaired reading comprehension;

"According to an Invictus spokesperson, the event was 'shelved' due to the Covid-19 pandemic and was a decision independent of the Netflix deal being signed.

The event was shelved because the primary revenue generator was ticket sales from a live concert in Los Angeles in the spring of 2021.

'Given current circumstances with Covid, the event needed to be reconceptualised.

'This was an independent decision made prior to a partnership with Netflix. The duke remains committed as ever to the Invictus Games.'

The 2020 Invictus Games which was due to be held in April were called off because of the coronavirus pandemic."

According to a report in the Sunday Times, the lawyer cited a ‘conflict’ of plans with another streaming service.

A source involved in the planning of the event told the publication: ‘It’s very bad form and everyone at Invictus is gutted.

Yes, the Invictus games event was to be shown on Amazon - hence the conflict of interest. Harry created the Invictus games and always said it was his most important project. I guess making big money is more important now.

The Queen offered Meghan the chance not to do the job from the off, and she didn't take it.
Of course you can quit but you shouldn't expect to still be paid by Daddy, to have the same tax funded security, to have the perks without the graft....and that is what they demanded at the start of their departure in their 'leaving' announcement they posted on their Instagram page, without informing the Queen or palace first, there for all to see - to their astonishment.

Of course you can quit, but its not the quitting, its the WAY you go about it and how you conduct yourself afterwards....and its been one long litany of self - interest, selfishness, bad decisions, untruths, hypocrisy, tackiness, airing their dirty laundry, me me me whine whine whine ever since.

I mean more than half this forum is about having opinions on people we don't know personally :joker:

When BB was in full swing - 'how dare you have an opinion on a hm you don't know personally'

In that case, what's the point of any forum, ever? lol

Having an opinion on a BB housemate.... doing something in BB is not the same.
But you know that.

A lot of difference. Just because you want to defend making personal comments about Harry and Meghan doesn't change it.

An opinion on who was right or wrong in an argument over cider on Big Brother is vastly different to assuming you know what a housemate is like as a parent in the real world for example.

If the comments were restricted to what she did in a documentary that would be fair enough.

It's not. It starts to veer off into the fantasy story writing of what she said to Harry off camera and how she controls him and everyone around her.

The entire media backlash she received was based on gossip about what she'd done "behind closed doors" conveniently enough.

Meghan and Harry’s Netflix plans brutally dismissed in poll ‘sooner watch paint dry!'
BRITONS have no interest in tuning in to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's new Netflix TV shows, according recent polling.
By EMILY FERGUSON

The survey, carried out from 1pm-10pm on September 3 on Express.co.uk, asked: “Will you watch Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new Netflix shows?”

The vast majority of respondents, 95 percent (8,229 people) voted “no”, with just five percent (318 people) saying “yes”.

Less than one percent of the 8,649 respondents, 102 people, opted for “don’t know”.

The findings of the poll were also backed by a YouGov poll, which found a similar result.

Royal POLL: Should the Queen remove Meghan and Harry’s royal titles over Netflix deal?

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry made a bombshell announcement this week they had signed a multi-year deal with Netflix to make a range of programmes for the streaming giant, which has sparked renewed calls for the couple to stop using their Duke and Duchess titles while pursuing commercial ventures. Should the Queen remove Meghan and Harry's royal titles over Netflix deal? Vote in Express.co.uk's poll.
By RACHEL RUSSELL

Our exclusive poll found a staggering 96 percent (9,335 people) thought the couple should be stripped of their Duke and Duchess titles as a result of their newly-signed agreement with the streaming giant.

Just four percent (408 people) thought Meghan and Harry deserved to keep their titles even though they were pursuing commercial ventures while 76 people said they didn't know.

A total of 9,819 readers took part in the online survey which ran between 3pm and 9pm on Saturday.

They were under big pressure to repay it....

Confirmation of the £2.4m payment comes after significant pressure following news of their Netflix deal.

Speaking this weekend, Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, deputy chair of parliament's public accounts committee, told the Telegraph: "Clearly anyone who has borrowed taxpayers' cash needs to pay it back as quickly as possible. £2.4million is a lot and even if you paid back £250,000 a year it would still take a decade."

Bim Afolami, a former member of the committee, which scrutinises public spending, agreed, saying: "If the Royal family wants to subsidise Harry and Meghan that's fine but the state should not pay for that. They need to pay the money back now."

Seems like you think the ‘slobbering public’, as you disdainfully call them, all go by what are often sensational headlines on the front of papers and never open one.
Inside papers like the Express, Times, DM, Telegraph for example, there are articles written by reliable sources that have known the royals for years and whose job it is to ferret out the truth from the nonsense. Many of these Royal experts, correspondents and royal reporters have known Harry since he was a little boy, have accompanied him on tours all over the world, have drank with him at the end of the day in bars, when he let his hair down.
There are his Royal biographers like Penny Junor who have interviewed him in depth and have been allowed to follow him in his work for months on end. Or Richard Kay, who became a close friend of Diana and the boys. More…...Angela Levin, Dickie Arbiter, Jennie Bond, Ingrid Seward, Hugo VIckers etc.

These sources also do TV interviews and take part in documentaries. They are the ones who get inside info and they can’t outright lie or they would be out of a job.
They don't 'slam' Meghan, they comment on what they have seen and have been told in a reasoned way. Their info and opinions are worth a read to anyone interested. At the end of the day, they have been able to learn more than you or I.
I would like to think I’m not so supercilious as to think the ‘slobbering public’ en masse can’t tell the difference between senseless tabloid fodder and articles with merit.
