TV Licensing have kindly just sent me a letter informing me that I have a 10 day window to get correctly licensed and their case against me is therefore on hold for the next 10 days.

Begrudgingly yes. I didn't for years; legitimately as I didn't watch live television... But it got to the point where sky TV + Broadband + TV license was actually cheaper than BT broadband (the only Fibre options in the area at the time) so we caved.

It nearly did once, but luckily for me it just fell of the top of the van on To my hedge..I helped them lift it into the back of the van and waved them on thier way..briefly thought about sueing thier paedo protecting arses..but decided not to chance my luck.
