I watched it.
Interesting.
But it is one of these documentaries that evokes peoples captivation because its styled in a way to make people think they are being enlightened on a mysterious topic and are therefore better informed than the general population who are all silly sheep.
Typical woke material.
Do I really think they are telling me this information to help me?

...don’t worry, our Admin are psychologically tracking all of those people who made the documentary, User...they’ll document their findings a bit later...

I think a lot of people were already thinking this stuff anyway. "Fake news" is a big thing in the last few years

I enjoyed the documentary but it's stuff I've been banging on about for years :joker:. The only way to be unaffected by it is to stay away from it - no one really "knows" how much they're subliminally affected by "a touch more of this, a little less of that"... the scariest part really is that it's usually not driven by any real higher goal or political motivation; it's purely about engagement, holding attention, clicks and ultimately profit... by automated systems that are actually relatively simple in concept. Profit = good and nothing else exists.

The Culture Wars drive engagement and so it's beneficial to keep driving views and clicks that play into it... but that makes it sound like there's some "actual" driving intelligence behind it when there isn't... there isn't a consciousness that knows what it's doing or knows what the consequences are... it's just... maths. And there's something even creepier about that, somehow :umm2:.
