SO this is a great soup. I add some west indian hot sauce and pepper and have it with toast and mackerel

Anyroad in Tesco its like £1.15

But

I have noticed that in Aldi in their wee trays of their own Brand DUncan soup (ALdi dont stock Baxters by the way) if you root aroundf at the back of the shelf you can find the odd randon tin of Baxters MInestrone

and it gets rung through at 65p :amazed:

On sunday i found 3!

I found this out as i like the Duncan's chicken broth but its hard to find so you have to search

Literally sticking it to the man :smug::joker::smug::joker::hee:

How is it a scam? If they didn't stock it then it wouldn't scan through their tills.

it comes thru as Duncans

Seems intentional, they're trying too off load some years old stock onto you :sicksmilie:

Make your own soup, pretty much anything pre-made is disgusting.

I think soup appreciation is a Scottish thing, there's a guy at work and he is very passionate about lentil soup and think the tinned stuff I bring is an abomination :/

A good lentil soup (made with proper ham stock) is amazing and yes tinned lentil soup is foul.

i make legendary lentil soup and split pea soup :smug:My gran (who died when I was 8) made what I *thought* was the best ever lentil soup and then I later found out it was actually split pea soup and I've never quite gotten over it. Lied to all through my childhood.
