That's a lot of money to stump up... he must think they're close?
Mind you that is just one of thousands of labs across the globe racing to find a vaccine. I'm not sure where the conflict of interest is unless he's suggesting the govt fund this facility over others.

Personally I'm surprised he didn't know, not saying hes lying about not knowing obv.... you would've thought as a matter of transparency it would have to be declared if the investment was a considerable sum.
