True Blue is probably my least favourite of Madonna's four 80s albums, dunno why they've picked that :shrug:

Talking Heads - Remain in Light being overlooked in favour of tripe from Duran Duran, Soft Cell and ABC is criminal. As is R.E.M.'s Murmur and Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation.

but if I think about UK musical impact and cultural impact i probably would say

Welcome to the Pleasuredome was the biggest

does anyone remember more than 3 songs off of it? I don't think it had any massive impact, certainly nowhere near as big as Thriller/Purple Rain/Born in the USA

DO you not remember the t-shirts, RELAX was bigger than anything prince released

it was massive

purple rain was an album, Frankie says was part of UK culture. it was in tv shows
