Defiant pub owner starts selling meals for a Penny
so he can stay open despite Tier 3 anti-Covid lockdown rules

Pubs can only open if serving food with the drinks so he started giving out free food but the council said he wasn't allowed so now he's charging a penny. :joker:

I don't think he originally served food but wanted to stay open and this is a.way he could. People can only get a drink if they buy a "substantial" meal and so by doing this people can drink in there legally without having to fork out for a meal they don't want :shrug: I think anyway.
