Esther Rantzen's done it but she wasn't a Dame at the time. She is now though.

i can see Sir Mo do strictly too at some point (but not now he's still an active sports star)

given it's better for strictly to sign retired sportspeople (so they can commit fully to the show)

IAC is a nice first RTV show to start with for him, not too physical demanding either i think
