Apparently it’s a new heist which basically means we’ll be sat in lobbies or loading screens for about 2 hours before you can actually play it.

Will be looking forward to any new cars that come out tho.

I cant see the island being used for just a heist would be a massive waste of resources.

The general idea for GTA Online, I think, is its seperating from GTA V, and will continue in future games

I hope it isn’t too and I agree it would be a massive waste but Rockstars logic has always been a bit questionable so it makes me unsure :laugh:.

Tbh, I mostly play it solo and just drive about

The only way I can describe it is that your kinda supposed to build your own empire, like there’s loads of different businesses you can buy to earn money (and some unlock heists you can take part in). It gets boring pretty fast though.

Yes I’m really surprised by that. For some players (including myself sometimes) making money solo is much more preferable since random players can be unreliable and make mistakes so I’m glad that we have the option to play solo with this new heist :thumbs:.

I'm super happy about it too, will prolly give it a go with friends, but will do it solo as well. :cheer2: I just hope that we can explore the island too lol

Reddit detectives have spotted San Andreas in the distance in the trailer, which means it likely wont be instanced. Also it looks like the island is free roam, but there will be a heist area too

Played a bit of it and got bored cause you gotta sneak about, island isnt free roam and there is terrible collision on everything

Any "Easter Eggs" spotted yet that point to a possibly GTA VI plot/theme/location?

From what I've seen many believe this is the beginnings of the road to the highly rumoured "Project Americas" story.

I'm not sure, from what I saw of the island, it's pretty basic, might have missed a hint somewhere though

Don't you have to buy a submarine to play it? aka have another 2m+ spare to spend.

I always thought I was doing well on this game, owning whatever new came out, but I guess not playing it for like 2 years really caught up with me because I came back to it like... I don't own a nightclub, casino penthouse, yacht, and now a submarine and it's just... Rockstar really are as greedy as EA at this point. Seems futile advertising big updates when they're only going to cater to the 1% of people who own(ed) the game and have not played anything else since it materialised.

Yeah you gotta buy the submarine to play, thankfully its not crazy expensive, but its still expensive and annoying, this update kinda put me off Online quite a bit
