Kanye really certified himself as a musical genius with this one.

Easily his best album and I doubt it’ll ever be topped.
A shame when you compare this to the music he puts out nowadays tbh.

Already 10 years? This was genius, whether you like him or not. Pure gold.

Dunno, depends what Jess Wright is doing
Runaway and Blame Game are massively underrated, not just rap/hip hop i mean music in general. All of the Lights in pretty good but could have done without Rihanna. Monster is catchy, Nikki Minaj's verse does still the show on that song. Power is like a staple now for every power 'moment' in tv/film/ads (not a song i ever liked).
The album was great tbh. Only beaten by College Dropout imo.

First time hearing Devil In A New Dress felt like a life altering moment.
Still remember that journey home from Sixth Form as it started playing . I even got off the bus and walked it instead.
It’s honestly hard to choose a fave song from it. I genuinely feel this was Peak Kanye in his element who put everything into this after his Mother passed. Shame his recent music doesn’t have half the staying power as his older stuff.
...Devil in a New Dress ...is immense, it was composed ‘by accident’....?...

It's so weird that he was capable of making Ultralight Beam - which I might even argue eclipses everything on MBDTF - and then... everything else :(

It sampled Smokey Robinson.

It’s so weird how it’s the only track on the album in which Kanye didn’t produce and yet it still felt as “Kanye” as anything I’ve heard with the pitch altered soul samples.
