So someone showed their true colours as the facade cracked tonight and it was Shane who was the guilty party.
He bitched like a girl about Jess to Vernon who joined in a bit so wasn't blameless but Shane's sour face turned me right off him. I thought he was a great guy but he's a complete tosspot.
Your thoughts on Shane?
Morgan.

I thought it was really rude. I hate that bitching, basically saying she shouldn’t have come on the show but then cuddling up to her for the vote reveal. So two faced.

I never liked him and I have said so on several threads. He is arrogant and full of himself and I am glad that other people who thought he was a nice guy are seeing his true colours :(

Yeah i don't like his behaviour tonight he was worse than usual , he woke up with a sour face and he made a song and dance over washing the pots .
Then to top it all off he has a bitching session with Vernon who's just as bad :bored: . If he thinks Jess is cut from the same cloth as Jordan then does he think his pal Jordan shouldn't of entered the castle either ??? , yet he's picking on Jess :suspect: .

Yeah he's clearly jealous and sees Jordan and Jess as threats. As if he's gonna win. Ego driven idiot. X

But weirdly he's best pals with Jordan , yet he thinks Jess is
" cut from the same cloth as Jordan" . It feels like he has it in for Jess more .
I knew Shane was full of himself , and notice how he loves talking about himself . I hope he only gets 1 star in his trial :joker: . Can you imagine if he does well in the trial , he'll be even more overbearing .

He's really two faced though Goldheart as you can see x He would turn against Jordan in a heartbeat. Maybe he sees Jess as the biggest threat to his own chances then? He should be ashamed of himself.

Shane tries too hard to be funny, he’s irritating af, I can see him being the one getting in the most arguments

hmm i guess we'll see
I'm not a big Jordan fan , but Shane & Vernon's behaviour really annoyed me. Even the way Vernon was breathing down Giovanna & Mo's necks when they were trying to cook made me want to reach through the tv screen  , just let them get on with the cooking ! :fist: .

He obviously had those thoughts about Jordan...but Jordan thinks the sun shines out of his arse. Also he took on the role as the 'supporter' the 'Alpha male' but he has seen that being the 'weaker' player brings more airtime and popularity and Jordan got the public vote for camp leader that he would have loved and its starting to grate. I mean none of these people are stupid...after all these years they know the score...they know how to get the votes and I think Jordan and Jess know what they are doing.
Shane is one of those people who listens to a conversation then makes it all about them. The bloke looks knackered and he is starting to show his true colours...realising he was playing the wrong game...but he will love the fact he now has a chance to shine in the next challenge and his sense of self worth will put him right back in the limelight...see grumpy Shane disappear overnight

I think Jess & AJ were genuinely scared , but they got on with it . I think some campmates honestly conquer their fears and get on with things. I'm glad Jordan doesn't get picked anymore to do trials , otherwise it would grate .
But some definitely play up for the cameras . And I can see right through Shane , if he does well in the trial he'll 100% be grinning and laughing like he's mr happy again :notimpressed: .
...I think that the thing is with Shane, is he’s been such a comforter/carer to the group as well..and especially to those who have struggled more with fears...so it would be a huge shock to Jess and Jordan to have heard him be so dismissive to what they’re overcoming.... saying they were ‘cut from the same cloth’ and how he watches that year in and year out, did they not know what it was all about....every year, we see campmates lose public favour by revealing less than supportive and less than positive sides to their characters...year in and year out, we see that...has he never watched, doesn’t he know that.../...the irony of words....Vernon as well, though was in full agreement....

very rude of Shane, Vernon (and Vernon has just exposed himself to be Shane's little companion bitch :fan:)
it was really a tough trial for Jess & AJ, 12 stars was impossible with it being pitch black, time limit, more scary with rats if you cannot see them but hear and feel them crawling next to you, so having gotten 50% of stars is not bad, not bad at all
but then again hope karma comes right back at you tonight Shane, if you can do it better, i expect you to get 12 out of 12, mr so called perfection, hope he is soaked in fish guts :fc: do it, he is literally asking for that

I saw Shane Ritchie with his head on fire once. Tru story.
He was in "Grease" in the West End when I was a kid, went with my mum, aunt and sister for a gals day to see it, and during a scene where someone is lighting a cigarette for Kenickie (Ritchie) and they set his wig on fire. It was proppa amazing, best part of the show... people were screaming... someone pulled his wig off and stomped it out... and then they just carried on, hahahaha. To be fair to him I don't think they even broke character, he was like "Woah [character name] you gotta be more careful with that thing!"
I'm guessing the wig was covered in hairspray, and they used a real lighter. Not really the best plan :hehe:
[bonus trivia] Fellow 'stenders alum Tamzin Outhwaite was also in it :hee:... though it was before either of them had been in EastEnders
AND apparently, Ronnie Mitchell was Sandy in the same production a bit later on, but that was after I saw it sadly.

He’s one of the very few actually being themselves. He said what everyone thinks. Why do people go on the show and then get scared by everyone like they don’t know what show it is?
They go in to face their fears. Which they certainly have done so far. And yes he is being himself....only its not a good persona. Arrogant big-headed and derogatory.

I hope he will be more understanding after he's done a trial.
It's not always as easy as it looks.

is that what it is, a show, bringing others down, slagging others off in the most cruel and condescending way possible for the entertainment because they are the alpha's
well if they want to be the villains, they will be treated like villains by the public, aka not winning the show
