Another corona event I'm afraid..

I'm standing in the queue with my meal deal all.masked up with about 4 people in front of me when I sensed something behind me..so I turned round to be met by a co op employee shouting directly in my space to his fellow employee who was on the till..with his mask round his neck...

I lost it big time and roared at the idiot...
YER SHOUTING ALL OVER THE TOP OF ME YOU ****ING IDIOT, AND YOU AINT EVEN WEARING YOUR MASK, HAVE SOME ****ING RESPECT"

I honestly dont know what came over me both with the shouting and his spittle shout breath..

Maybe I was hungry!

I'm still doing my shopping online.
So much easier.
I only go to shops when I need gas and electricity.

I have gone into the Co-op twice, forgetting to wear a mask. First time I realised in the first aisle. Second time I didn't realise until I was at the till, however it was just before it closed and I was the only shopper.

No..all.I did was sit in shock at myself, weeping gently into my tuna and cucumber sandwich as I contemplated my loss of cool.

Aw,bless you Parmy, you got a heart of gold , we all lose it sometimes, at least with the masks on you can curse people without them seeing it,lol

Don’t feel bad Parm, we are 9 months in, he should be aware of distance by now and his work place requires him to wear a mask, hopefully your outburst has implanted it in his brain

Fair play, I'm surprised I haven't been sacked tbh I've shouted and sworn at drivers for not having a mask on and sticking their fat heads round our 'protective' perspex sheet thing at work ... oh, and one threatened to sue me because I asked to see his exemption thing apparently it's against disability laws to ask.

Hopefully it has, but I know why it came out...the outburst!

I'm so pissed of with my new driver, I've finished training rob up so he can go out on his own.. unluckily covid stopped me training his body, but his mind is back to where it should be for such a lovely lad..

BUT TOM (robs cousin btw) URGH!!!

I was already tense in the shop cause I could see him taking about 2 mins to pick four different chocolate bars out the corner of my eye and it was really doing my nut in cause he smashed an 82 inch screen yesterday in front of a customer at half 6 at night...

The laddies simply beyond repair and will be sent back soon.

I've been almost losing my cool in the local co-op for years, because the staff are CONSTANTLY stacking shelves (it's a small shop! and there are always, ALWAYS 2 or 3 staff ****ing around with stock!) and they treat you like YOU are in THEIR way by daring to try to come in and buy things in their shop while they're busy putting stock out.

It proppa bugs me. You wouldn't have shelves to fill if people weren't buying your stuff, guys.

Very rude and I hope they ban you, Retail staff have to deal with so much already without people like you thinking you are above them

He apologised.

He shouldn't have to, no customer has the right to raise their voice to staff and if they do they should be immediately permanently banned

Well he should be following government rules

He was rude to the customer (parmy) by breathing and shouting over him with no mask. Parmy just retaliated. He will learn now, maybe parmy has stopped him infecting someone with covid who cares for their elderly parents?

I'd have had no customers at th'bookies if I'd banned customers who got a bit shouty :joker:. That said, different customer service standards in that it was acceptable to tell most customers to go **** themselves. All good-natured sparring :flutter:.

A hard-line at getting physically aggressive though; throwing or hitting "stuff" was a "don't come back today", getting aggressive with staff was an automatic ban.

So much for your online ‘anger management’ course :)

Coincidentally , I’ve been doing an online yoga course .. two really good things about it .

1) It’s free
2) You don’t have to actually do it :)
