meanwhile 75% of all jobs go in hospitality, the economy is ruined and many more die due to the panic decisions than would have if we didnt make them and all the people who died fundamentally would have died of something else like pneumonia? Every prediction made by Whitty has been a massive overreaction and everytime they govt justifies a decision they dont use actual stats but tell lies to try and avoid scrutiny?

I feel the actual crisis is in the overreaction. Its like dont forget lots of people die every day of stuff and lots of people get ill - BUT ITS A PANDEMIC :omgno:- yeah so is diabetes and heart disease what are you doing every day about that? - no daily briefings about obesity or smoking/drinking?

All I know is we're living in strange times, what's happened this year is just not normal. Something smells pretty fishy, and i ain't talking about the city I live in.

I think the stripping of people's liberties is very disturbing.

There are some good arguments out there against the way it's being handled, Peter Hitchens probably being one of the leading figures, but also people of the left. And the public in general, they've been many protests up and down the country and the reaction of the authorities towards this as been, at times, shameful.

The media do a terrible job on those protests, they try to paint the people as the problem.

Yet we continue in this daydream of a year.
