Robin is not Aston Merrygold because vocally this one got more range, while Aston i find more one trick pony with the R&B, also how easily this one goes from low notes to high notes, this can only be a experienced vocalist/performer (older than Aston i mean)

I felt he mentally checked out in week 2, his Harry Styles and Seal was very lucky not to have seen him go over Grandfather Clock, obviously the audience don’t know previous performances.

Plus it felt very flat in the studio after a double whammy of Robin & Badgers flawless performances and followed by Sausage’s I will survive, it really got lost in such a big show, so I’m really not surprised he went.

I know some clues are purposely ambiguous so they can relate to a number of people but that's quite a blatant clue that doesn't apply to many people.

He was super dull this week, struggled in a super strong show, and most of all quite obviously didn’t want to be there

And personally I feel that Viking was bringing more of a subtle tone to an otherwise very OTT Show, obviously some people will find that dull, but for me I'd rather that than the cliched stuff that the Sausage is doing but I suppose that's just my own personal taste coming in.

Viking was also in the B2 last week wasn't he ,so I guess he just wasn't popular with the audience:shrug: .

If the judges save dragon again then it will be annoying and wrong as he's the weakest now . And I still think dragon is a man despite the panel making female guesses :rolleyes: .

Oh a lot of the studio audience were gonna find Viking's style of singing dull which is fair enough.

I just can't believe that so many of the audience thought that the Dragon was the best on the night to be able to beat a contestant who was clearly more talented. I still don't get how he beat Swan either.

I'm with you that Dragon is a man.

I felt he mentally checked out in week 2, his Harry Styles and Seal was very lucky not to have seen him go over Grandfather Clock, obviously the audience don’t know previous performances.

Plus it felt very flat in the studio after a double whammy of Robin & Badgers flawless performances and followed by Sausage’s I will survive, it really got lost in such a big show, so I’m really not surprised he went.

I agree with the bottom paragraph that the more dramatic performances sadly overshadowed Viking on the night.

However I disagree with the top paragraph as Viking did his sing-off well imo, and he clearly was in a different league to Grandfather Clock (I do like Glenn Hoddle though) I think that you obviously don't like Morten Harket's type of singing so are judging him more harshly because I honestly think that a lot of the public would've seen it as a Jedward beating Lucie moment if the Grandfather Clock had've beaten Viking that week.

Morten is far from dull though


he also got a fun personality, very lovely likeable too, a fab mentor (as many of his acts on norwegian version of the voice have a lot of praise about him)

I think he was in a disadvantage in his costume it looked very top heavy and he couldn't move around like others can in it, so his engagement was less

Yes, Morten style of singing is more understated, not in your face. But I think he's amazing anyway
