I took a four year break and when I returned I fell in love with Tibb all over again. It hooked me in. I was quite ill for a while but I'm much better now a few years on. Shaun is still here running his music games. He'll be pleased to see you. Xx

Yes I'm OK now. I had a breakdown after my mum died. I found her in the kitchen. I was in hospital for a few months after overdosing on paracetamol. Its all behind me now though. I now live in Wigan with my boyfriend and am a lot happier. Xx
Hope you have a great New Year and all the best for 2021.

Hello!. So good to see you.
How you're well. Happy holidays :wavey:
Whatever happened to "Hello everybody?" when did it become "hey y'all?" When was the English language replaced with the language of Tennessee or Kentucky?
It'll be "Howdy partner" next.
Welcome back Lee.

Hi Cherie! Unfortunately he relapsed in 2017 and had to go through treatment again, then had a bone marrow transplant in 2018. He’s doing absolutely great though
He’s definitely not a wee boy any more, he’s 14 and hormonal af

Yip, quiet for us too. We’ve never spent Xmas in our own house, but it was quite nice tbh!
Back in lockdown now, so just chilling and enjoying not having to be anywhere!
It’s been a funny old year eh?

I’m the same Niamh. I LOVED lockdown over the summer, we were shielding so were only allowed in the garden, but we had a great time.
Lockdown in winter is ****e though.. we don’t go out out much but I’m missing having friends round and being able to go out for a meal (and a glass of wine with meal!)

By the time we got into lockdown 2 I was going in to work but everything felt dull and restrictive, like one of my best friends had a baby in August and I've only seen him in person once
...Lee......I’m so glad that Samuel’s doing ok and is able to be a difficult teen......

Yeah, that side of things sucks. Thank god for FaceTime/zoom, but it’s not the same is it?

Hi Ammi, thank you, me too tbh! We were told that given the amount of high dose chemo he’s had, he might not have gone into puberty naturally, and would need hormone injections daily, so his stinky armpits and new deep voice are more special to me than he’ll ever know

Hi Annie! Thank you. How are things?
Good thanks.....hating lockdown....turned me borderline alcoholic having to homeschool my son but other than that, I'm all good thanks
......I imagine his sister thinks that daily as well......is she in sixth form now or..?...
She’s in 5th year (17 in a few months!!)
She’s had a rough time too.. she’d been having counselling for anxiety and depression, and was starving herself... then lockdown happened and she’s now like a new girl! Like us, I think it allowed her to completely relax for the first time in a long time and all the pressure of exams, friendships, school, boys etc etc was taken away.
She’s flung herself into her studies and is generally just a happy, normal teenager

:laugh2: I did no home schooling whatsoever.. even drink wouldn’t have got me through that! My two did a couple of things online but apart from that we just chilled and drank and ate

...weird, isn't it...how something can have such negative impact on some, but can be just what is needed for others...it’s also given that time for her to be able to talk to you all about it so that you’ve been able to go forward together....for her, just being able to have some of those stress layers removed and the distancing from those layers has meant that she’s been able to reach her family more easily...I’m so glad that she seems ok, it’s so tough for siblings as well when illness becomes such a part of the family.....
It's like an episode of Loose Women in here.

...the important thing is that you’re all having this opportunity to realise it and take those steps now to ensuring her future well-being as well and you’ll all share that care together..and it might have taken much longer to get to that place, had there not been a forced slow down of pace...out of the worst things, can come such positives...
...yeah, it was as good as we’d hoped for but very contactless and hugless and I’m missing that so much...

I’m not a cuddler really, (social distancing, another positive I’ve found) but I REALLY want to give my wee mammy a cuddle.
And I didn’t cuddle my kids for the first couple of weeks of lockdown just in case I had picked the virus up at work and I found that really hard.
Here’s hoping the new year brings some sort of normality.. can’t see it being soon though.
