[One of the victims was critically injured and
more than a dozen buildings were swept away
early on Wednesday in the municipality of Gjerdrum,
about 19 miles north of Oslo.
The missing people were from homes
in Ask village, the centre of the landslide.

Police spokesman Roger Pettersen said
officials could not rule out the possibility
of people in collapsed buildings.]

...700 evacuated from their homes and 11 people missing...severe weather conditions are so frighteningly ferocious and don’t relent at all for pandemics and such like things...trying to find the missing people in those conditions will be horrendous and life threatening in itself...just awful, awful.....

I took my love, I took it down
I climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills
'Til the landslide brought me down
