Which makes it really odd that in an ice skating competition, for the golden ticket it goes to someone who wasn't first choice at all of the judges.
Even more odd they all voted for Rufus.

So is the golden ticket going to be used only to preserve some cannon fodder for use in future weeks.

I think the golden ticket is unnecessary and just another ridiculous power trip for the judges over the public.

Plus, the lines could have been opened longer too.

I love this show but honestly this new golden ticket thing and how it was marked too came across extremely amateurish.

A show like this doesn't require more judges control gimmicks.

However it's a fact on the voting of the judges, that had Joe not fallen, he'd have been by at least a fair few votes more, the clear leader on the night.

If their guideline is, if there's a fall then around a point is deducted, then that's what happened.

And yet again, the demographic of ITV voters have decided that they don’t like the young, confident black woman. Let’s not forget that this is the audience that filed 25,000 complaints about a dance routine that raised awareness for Black Lives Matter.

She is a very fun and energetic personality, she gave it her all, she went above and beyond what was asked, she delivered a smooth skate with no trips or stumbles etc. There was no reason whatsoever she should’ve been put in the dance off.

Black guys do well in this show historically, black girls don’t.

You say Leshurr is ‘unknown’ yet she has 440k more Instagaram followers than Joe-Warren for example, 400k more than Jason, the same as Denise. Just as many people know and love her as they do the other celebrities. She was bottom because the DOI key demographic have underlying racial biases.

Lets look at the stats In 2020 Joe won with Perri second in 2019 James won with Wes second in 2018 Jake won then we go back to 2014 before the break for the few years Ray Quinn won that year. We have to go back to 2013 to find a female win with Beth. The previous female winner to her was Hayley in 2010 my all time favourite. Good female skaters have been voted out far too soon and alot of them hardly make the final. The best skater should win no matter what the gender

Every single person watching likes somebody before the show begins, I like Becky and voted for her. I also voted for Leshurr based purely on feeling she was the best. Big difference to just voting for whoever you decide you fancy.

You say Leshurr is ‘unknown’ yet she has 440k more Instagaram followers than Joe-Warren for example, 400k more than Jason, the same as Denise. Just as many people know and love her as they do the other celebrities. She was bottom because the DOI key demographic have underlying racial biases.

Instagram followers do not show how famous someone is. The large majority of the 35+ population do not own Instagram, yes Lady Lehshur has a mini cult of younger fans, but that doesn’t make her more famous.. Sarah Harding has 240k more followers but she is definitely more known due to Girls Aloud.. Instagram follows have a rececency bias and age bias.. For instance Joni Mitchell has 90k Instagram followers you can’t argue Lady Leshur is more famous than Joni Mitchell :skull:

I said this a few weeks ago. Both Strictly and Dancing on Ice should have a level playing field. NO DANCE OR SKATING EXPERIENCE for EVERYONE. Its just not fair that an Olympic skier who can ice skate perfectly is in with people who have never worn skates in their lives. And much and all as I adore Faye she also skated when she was a kid
