...for a series...?..Little Fires Everywhere, Big Little Lies and This Is Us are all excellent, Adam...

...for a movie, I watched Dark Waters a few days ago and I’d totally recommend...it’s a true story and completely thought provoking...

Keep a look out for offers for add on channels too, I got STARZ and Shudder for 99p a month for 3 months recently and I pay for Hayu as an add on and that has US reality shows a few hours after they are shown in America.

The Tribe

Amy still keeping the dream alive! :joker:

I had no idea this was on Prime, I used to watch it whilst nursing teenage hangovers! The nostalgia value is MASSIVE but... can you really recommend it to people who didn't watch it at the time? The acting and production is so low budget ... and while that's part of the nostalgic charm ... I'm just not sure 2021 is ready for this...

Saturday late morning, after Powerpuff Girls, on the little portable CRT telly next to my bed, lay on it's side so that I didn't have to sit up, with headphones plugged in so that ... err... no one would know I was watching The Tribe. Grainy as **** picture because the little aerial was crap. Trying to escape the shame of whatever drunken 15-year-old house party I had been to the night before... ahhhh I can almost smell the stale budweiser :bawling:.

I still have Nirvana and Pearl Jam Unplugged that I recorded off the TV on video tape (not that I have anywhere to actually watch them anymore but I can't bring myself to get rid of them)

My sister has a massive collection of TV box sets on tape that she refuses to get rid of ... ... ... but hasn't had a player for over 10 years .

Actually mine and Gavs wedding video is on one of those small camcorder tapes, we used to be able to plug the whole thing in to the TV and watch it that way but it's broken now. I wonder is there anywhere to convert them into something watchable

There are cables to connect up VHS players to USB and then record as a video file, put it on YouTube, whatever... my dad concerted a load of camcorder videos from when we were kids and my wife's dad has done the same with theirs at some point. It probably wouldn't be that expensive to get the stuff but also I imagine there will be mail-in services etc. that will do it. So long as there are no rude bits :omgno:
