I know the left-and-right-brained concept isn’t that scientific but I’m making use of it here anyway. I thought I’d make a little list of both for the sake of comparison.
Left-brained:
More abstract than concrete in thinking
More drawn towards maths, philosophy, history, physics and formal arts in academia
Less interested in people and more in things
Right-brained:
More concrete than abstract in thinking
More drawn towards natural/social sciences (e.g., psychology, human biology) and the more creative arts academically
Less interested in things than people
Left-brained:
More abstract than concrete in thinking
