But the cancer was stage 4 and fast moving; so there probably was no time for him to get chemo and radiotherapy.

I just saw this on the news website and saw the tribute messages from his SBTB co stars , I'm shocked as I didn't even know he was ill .

I was shocked to hear this, but not because of the age or anything. I could have sworn he died a few years ago?! Obviously he didn't but this really confused me as I swear I remember threads on here about it too :S
