I just got ID in M & S!

I was in getting Marmite and i bought a nice bottle of cool refreshing White Wine and the till lady said " are you over 18?" and i said "sorry?" expecting some witty banter and she just said again "are you over 18?"

And i was like er yes and she said "its just its had to tell with masks" :puzzled:

I mean i was wearing a Barbour green wax jacket and had a Harris Tweed flat - not exactly what your average street teen wears

I was going into a club that had an over 25 policy....I was with a friend who was really young looking (she was younger than me but not that much) and she was asked for ID. I asked if they wanted to see mine too and the bouncer replied "why, have you got your bus pass or bingo card on you?" I had no comeback :sad:
