Well pretty much lol possibly 1 or 2 small symptoms but I never connected them with pregnancy at all apart from feeling totally exhausted especially on the run up to xmas but I just had that down as work being so hectic due to covid and xmas
Josy thinking she just had a beer belly .
Well I kinda did think I'd put a few pounds on lol

Tiny bump Annie which I thought was just a few extra xmas/lockdown pounds [emoji23] although I seem to have blown up and have a big bump now.
I'm feeling not bad but I'm high risk so had to go straight on to maternity leave, I'm not allowed to do much and I've to inject my stomach daily with blood thinners but the boredom is actually the worst because I'm not used to just sitting about.
Weve not started buying yet but other people have so my house is filling up with stuff. My priority atm is getting his room sorted (it's a boy) as right now its bright pink with Disney princess stickers from when my nieces used it and it's also become a dumping ground, so once I get that done and get some storage in there for his stuff I'll feel a bit better and more organised

He'll be in with you and Stuart for the first few months anyway Josy so don't be killing yourself trying to get the room done. Were work shocked when you told them how far along you were and you were going on Mat leave straight away? (they deserve that :P )

(they deserve that [emoji14] )Yeah true, I'm just thinking of storage for all his clothes and bits really the amount of stuff people have been buying and sending us in is actually quite terrifying [emoji23] also one of our family has bought me this really expensive breastfeeding pump thing with all these extra bits and bob's along with it and I'm still trying to work out how to tell them I won't be breastfeeding  I didn't know people would purchase stuff like that without knowing for certain it would be used :/
Yes work was shocked and even more shocked that I wasnt working on for a while but as you say they deserved it and I got a little satisfaction telling them it was immediate LOL

Oh that's a very presumptuous present to give someone, definitely not something you should buy unless you specifically asked for it. Is there a gift receipt with it? You do come across some pushy breast feeding advocates though mostly in the bloody hospitals.

My niece was expecting during last lockdown, and had her baby in August, no bother

I can't believe someone bought an expensive breast pump though, jesus..you could have got something useful instead!
Hell, I had a 'medical grade' breastpump with Skye and it was totally useless. Even while taking a crapton of meds that increase supply. Was something ridiculous like 6 hours per day (in breaks, obviously, but including nights) on it. And...half an ounce, if lucky PER DAY. :bored:
but a breastpump as a gift, is shocking. I would be tempted to guilt trip slightly, and say you medically cannot use it. **** their pressure!
