I've just started Fenyx Rising. It's a total BOTW rip off but that's OK, it's still good light-hearted fun and I'm enjoying it... except...

I had to remap the controller buttons. Light attack was on R1, and heavy attack on R2. I was nearly sick when I first discovered this, and immediately googled why they would do such a thing... only to discover the horrible truth that it's becoming more and more common, and many games don't offer custom remapping.

... ... I just don't know what to do about this. Is there a petition we can sign or something? This can't continue?

I'm not much of a gamer but I get the frustration - the jump and menu buttons are in the opposite places in the game Ark for Xbox and Switch. I've not played the Xbox one in ages now but when I first got the Switch I had a fair few deaths because I opened the menu for no reason...
