The house design and overall theme is clever (albeit ugly) but I can’t help but think it would’ve worked better if they’d just...done a redo of last season? Or at least brought some back
I don’t really care that they haven’t, but it deffo would’ve made more sense

The name "BB9 The Sequel" would have made much more sense then at least.

Cox: One word, "lit". Think of one that rhymes with that and you'll know which word I came up with.
Cox: The 2 Captain's have "no idea" about any of this. Sure they didn't..and they were also fan "voted" as the 2 Captains just like we were told(and not at all picked and placed in those cushy roles by production)..And who magically won the coin flip and got to pick the likely strongest male? The determination to cement this contrived balance is clear for all to see. Don't be surprised to see it all fall apart again though..as once this novelty bull is dissolved, the usual pattern is likely to take over again. So if they have any interest in maintaining a gender power balance, they best have lots of easy "answer questions" comps and blind bastards at the ready. Or more of those similar to what they kicked off with: weighed up to "physical proportions"(equivalent to having 1 competitor hold out a heavy axe..while the other holds out a feather)

I thought it was fun. It was setting the frame as the "big twist" was introduced.
The cast looks dynamic and diverse and I hope it stays that way and doesn't end up like BB CAN7..but who knows.
The twist is forcing things to happen but it's also a change, so why not accepting it and see where it goes. I'm not mad at it.

I didn't mind the episode but I don't like how there is no veto for the first round. Although with 14 players maybe that means there is a battle back? Or maybe everyone booted ends up coming back and merging as their own team. Then again perhaps they want a shorter season to make the chances greater for them to not get shut down due to Covid.

Remy, here's how they could satisfy me..
1) Cast strong females. Types who'll gladly collaborate with each other.
2) Remove ALL blind bastard comps.
3) Stop creating pet-freaks and pushing them to final spots.
If we got 1) we could enjoy a nice balanced game with the typical cocky males not so easily able to control through the whip hand. And 2) only exists to enable 3), so if 3) was scrapped then at least the potential would be there for ANY player to go at ANY TIME. Production demand so much control that they smother any form of surprise..which is terribly bad for a show like this.

Strong females have been cast like in BBCAN6 with Erica and Kaela, but for some reason production were all over paras one of the worst ever. Production had to remove Erica to allow paras to Continue to cruise by on her holiday.
And then Kaela was too strong that others were bitter and awarded paras the win because she screamed her answers somehow that is regarded as being passionate?

Yes, DouglasS, for some reason they have their "ideal winner"(Paras, and many others before her) pinned early on..and then they simply shape everything around them. From plotted advancement to privileged edit. It just baffles me how they think this can be better than allowing things to unfold in completely natural like manner. It just doesn't make sense.
With or without production help, the girls have to play their part in actually wanting female alliance, then going all out to make it work. Not only does it seem rare enough to have females in there capable of mixing it with the best of males, but to find 2 or more who are actually willing to have the backs of each other over any male would be pt2 of the challenge. Maybe natural tendencies and dependent needs from females on males is ultimately what dictates power/control leans in direction of males. Even in these days of independent cries and female empowerment..no amount of evolutionary change can bridge the gap between specific differences in hard wired traits.
As far as the overall structure of this season goes, it's yet again looking impossible for any type of power alliance on the female side...witnessed by an early peek into the usual male dominance as the 2 strongest from each team checked in with each other and cockily discussed how they planned to control things. Meanwhile, on the female front, we had "spicy V" swaggering around patting herself on the back because she tasted victory in one heavily biased, female-friendly comp. And the ridiculous Julie talking about "having a story to tell". This sort of self-indulgent rot has no place in this domain.
3 others were seen lazing about in the bathroom..having a great old time and sharing in the joy of being absurdly part of entire group safe from eviction. This prompted "team Captain" Tina to give a nod to the prospect of them all working closely together. In the middle of this fanciful coalition, I must've missed the HUGE joke that had them in hysterics??? All I seen was "spicy" deliberately running out of the shower to show some skin. Perhaps this laughter was brought about by them all acknowledging just what a sham alliance they'd formed. For imagine if this line came over the tannoy: Girls, are you SERIOUSLY going to stick together and do something about targeting all those dominant males?..
https://thumbs.gfycat.com/FemaleFlimsyAsianporcupine-size_restricted.gif
Look how the reactions line up beautifully..
And as those girls were seen mocking each other and their entire gender with sham alliances, the strongest among their gender was forming an actual alliance with the 2 strongest males. Giving us a clear view after only one day that this season is going to be no different than all the rest. The females are once again going their separate ways and are simply trying to outlast each other.
The next alliance seen forming was "The Dolls", should be named 'RAGdolls' once they've been tossed around at the pleasure of their many superiors. That hopeless trio offer no more of a threat than a bag full of wigs, lipstick and glitter. As evidenced by 30odd% being almost immediately tossed from it. 1 stooge down, 2 to go.

Blind comps are those that have ZERO transparency about them(individually "timed" etc..) with no eyes for us viewers to see exactly what went down(and more importantly each contestant left in dark) we're all left with nothing but the word of production and whatever bullshyte edit they package together. Such blind bitches are clearly only on hand for sake of Production - in order to guarantee the outcome of their desire..which gives them complete control when it comes to protecting their pets. They obviously don't give a damn that its at the expense of 'unpredictability'

WD to the females for at least competing and winning something. Granted, the first HOH comp didn't require any skill above standing like a dummy(the type females have a history of excelling in..) but it's better than nothing. Unfortunately, Austin - much like "spicy V" was more about congratulating herself instead of calming the **** down and using this power position to build a stronger bridge for her crossing. Such a weak ass reign made her "f-2" deal with Beth appear all the more ridiculous.
Usually saved for mid to end season filler, it's already alarming that they're showing "pranks" after only a couple of eps. And that whole steal or share dilemma was just an utter nonsense. Had they left it to group decision of each, it was at least open to some sort of chance that they'd make different choice, but the fact they ridiculously allowed a "negotiator" to visit one another, the boring matchup was without doubt. FARCE.
Beth was seen desperately trying to force a showmance with Tia, looking to become the new Este.

Austin saw the light and didn't put Latoya up, which would not have made sense anyway.
Enough of women targetting each other, it's getting old.

Kiefer is part of a big alliance though.
Also I do not think if she had targeted Latoya had anything to do with her being a female, more to the fact that Latoya had a big role in the eviction of Julie along with Josh and Julie herself.
She did the right thing though as Latoya would not have gone, Josh would have and Austin would have gone next.

Austin hoping people "forget" about her HOH reign. They'll hardly do that. Instead, they'll all remember it for the piss weak disaster it was. Tina&Toya bragging about being in a big boring alliance, both ridiculous and delusional enough to believe they're the driving members.
When mullet man had sitdown with Austin to blow smoke, telling her she was "young and beautiful"..she was nodding along like being told the sun will rise tomorrow. Absolutely full of herself is that girl.
Thai's obscenely cheesy open mouthed fake laugh is annoying beyond true description.

The song they produced together was as ridiculous and tragic as expected.
The laughable POV draw was back. A nice big black bag with giant chips in them. And notice again how the cam never remained fixed on the players as they picked from it? RIDICULOUS. Mullet man was in the DR pretending he was hoping for specific player pick. Did you catch him at the end of previous ep where he stated "there's no chance you've seen the last of me".. meaning his production pals had already assured him of what was coming..

But he's "repping" a community..which we again heard all about during his crappy POV speech. The players production give all sorts of help and support to are not always model types. It is of course much more likely the perverts will put all their weight behind someone they fancy, but they'll also spread favours to any type as long as they believe they have enough "character" they can milk. Mullet man is clearly one of those.

Beth acting like a 2-bob slag..showing her willingness to kiss, dish out handjobs and spread her legs for half the house just to stay safe in the house(Bethy does BIg Bro>Debbie Does Dallas) And this is on top of having production push her hard in the edit. We've had her dancing around a room for half an ep, being the 1 to host the first POV in ludicrous outfit, being the 1 to introduce those silly messages they're receiving..as well as be the 1 to stand in front of the giant screen and operate it. Then they gave her that pet-freak privilege of being the 1 allowed to "explain" her alliance in the goodbye message..like she was the LEADER driving it. EMBARRASSING. And of course she was "the biggest Pike fan ever".. another douchebag pet who was also backed to the hilt by production and allowed to profit off a ludicrous "twist" they threw into his lap. The clown "hinted" at something similar for this season, so watch how when Bethy(or another pet-freak who production are desperate to save) is in eviction trouble or behind in positioning, this "secret power" miraculously popping up for their great benefit. PATHETIC. It's for this reason that I've decided this will be my final season watching this. I'd already decided to ditch the US version.. but rightly or wrongly I always believed the Canada version wasn't as sickening and production driven as the former. Looking/thinking back and having refresher course with this season. it's left me seriously questioning that belief. Even if US is on another level, BOTH versions clearly have a problem letting the game play out in fair, organic manner.
Oh and the crappy "teams" have been disbanded. Now that they've served their purpose of letting pets Tina&Kiefer coast for a week..before conveniently establishing firm alliance for them with mixture of both sides, there was no further need for the nonsense.

Another laughable HOH comp. The eventual "winner" auto advanced 3 times on the stupid bounce...before "winning" 1 solitary round vs mullet man(who looked as though he wasn't even trying. The obvious perks of being production pet with layers of protection) and yet she was running around saying "they put fire under my ass" EMBARRASSING. And her nom speech was absolutely RIDICULOUS. She actually believes she's playing a "strong game".. when really all she's doing is making a fool of herself by going down that tired old route of targeting fellow female. PATHETIC.

Not my three favorites being evicted one after the other :skull:
Latoya screwed herself, she did it on her own. A Rohan blindside would have been nice, but she didn't read the room properly. It was clear Josh was big enough of a character to not be evicted. His time was up.
Victoria went straight back at her, and it makes sense. She could have gone for a boring HoH but she's coming after a bigger fish.
It's however sad that it's again a female targeting another female and doing the boys dirty work. I wish she targeted one of the bigger dudes.

That is the main issue. I've no problem with anyone going after "bigger fish"..but if that's your main/sole motive, why should the most dominant males not be at the head of your list? As anti-female and piss weak as her move obviously is, if she'd at least handled it better(been upfront with her target, not ripped the piss out her alliance members..threatening them as replacement noms etc..) she wouldn't have looked so ridiculous. But the way she did handle it meant she did nothing but expose herself as an utterly clueless, hopeless player who has without doubt torched any chance(as slim as it was) she had of making the end and potentially winning. For such moronic play, hopefully she gets her rightful reward of an early pre-jury boot.

Just before the completely random POV draw.."spicy v" tells us all she knows is "Thai and Jed can't be picked to play in it"(since it would be her worse case scenario)..and so of course it was certain they would be picked in that oh so "random draw". PATHETIC. They just continue to insult the intelligence of viewers, especially jarring for those with solid understanding of probabilities. "It's nutz" said Rohan. No, not nutz, just stupidly FIXED.

Imagine allowing a mess like "spicy V" threaten you to the point where you're shyte scared of using the Veto. But that's how bad Jed and Thai have played this game. Also, the moment pet-freak Bethy's name was thrown into the mix as the replacement nom, immediately came the big voice over the tannoy with the announcement: "Houseguests, 1 HOUR until the POV ceremony." I honestly don't see how you can say there's anything "ballsy" about her. Any fool can play as stupidly as she has(with intent or not) but the simple fact is instead of going directly after males, or at least being honest with them about her intentions, she's hiding behind some nonsensical bull to rid the house of one of her own(for whatever perverse pleasure her pea brain is looking to derive from it) and pull off a "blindside" that the whole house is already aware of. I also doubt that this type of clownery from one POC to mock another is purely coincidental..
So given that she's doing good production work, and supposedly giving "good tv", any further help and protection she receives throughout the game(even being gifted that silly twist/secret power they're sitting on) can't be dismissed lightly. But let's see if when it comes to the crunch and saviour is between her and Bethy.. which way the pigs jump them. It's heavy odds-on they'll toss her away like garbage. As will this newly formed "oddball" alliance she remains rock-bottom of.

The "random" POV draw was yet again another farce. Mullet made clear his wishes "give me Thai, give me Jed, give me Beth"..and as if by magic..2 of those bitches popped straight out. Not to make it too absurd, they decided they best not have ALL 3...so instead of that, they went a silly notch down and had the reject standby HG pick out his potential "showmance" partner. PATHETIC.
Can't wait to see what laughable bull they've cooked up with this incoming "invisible HOH" reign..

Kief is pretty dumb for thinking it's too late for him to "change allegiances" - everyone sees him as a floater, none of the other HGs think of him as working with Jed, Ty, and Beth. They're seen as a trio, and clearly think next to nothing of Kief - they already basically talk about him as a Jury Vote and nothing else.
I hope Jed and/or Ty go next. They're just so horrible and grimy. I don't necessarily fault Kief for still crawling up their ass when they voted for him to go, they had to vote for someone, but it just goes to show how misplaced his loyalty is.
It's a shame Kyle basically just rolled over and took the L. Isn't he a superfan? I'm glad Austin stayed over him though, and I'm also glad Rohan took himself off the block.
Vic's probably my favourite at this point. She played a hell of a game last week, nailing the Blindside last week AND keeping herself off the block in the following week. She's doing good.

People are clearly reading Mr mullet man all wrong. This belief that he's soooooo "loyal"/"true friend" is complete crap. He's one of the biggest snakes the game has ever seen. When he was up against LT he was waddling around pretending to be all sad, at the same time as trying to contain a smile/laugh that was mocking his own alliance. Not only did he know he was as safe as houses, he also knew the votes that kept him in the game were not given to save him, but rather to destroy his opposition. If changing allegiances would've helped him improve his position he'd have done it in the blink of an eye..but the simple fact is it wouldn't have. Not only would he be known to Thai, Beth and Jed as a complete rat who jumps ship at the slightest wobble, scurrying over to the other side would only have seen him slapped to the bottom of their ranks(much like the clueless spicy V) By staying "loyal to the soil" he retains 3 people who will never go after him. And being closely aligned with the useless floating pair that is TnT, he has no worries there..nor from the rudderless "spicy v". So his immediate threat was only ever 4 players....which he ensured was cut to 3 during his HOH reign. So make no mistake about it, "Captain Kief" is playing the numbers for nobody but ME-MYSELF&I. Which is fine since that's what the game is mostly about, but it becomes truly sickening when it's under the guise of "loyalty" or whatever other bull these type of liars are peddling.

Of course it just had to be one of their pet-favs. And let's be clear, that's why the crappy comp used to gift the winner all this "secret" rubbish was as good as a blind bastard. They had them all standing there "competing"..wasting their god damn time counting stupid falling rocks when it's clear it didn't matter a jot which one got closest to the actual figure, as they'd already decided whatever number(no matter how erroneous) their pet-freak puppet had dialed in, that was the number the pigs would be pretending it to be. It was the perfect opportunity to put the two big dudes on the block. But at the same time they kind of protect her right now? I think Austin and Breyden was a good choice too because it makes sense to split a duo up and everybody would have put them up anyway.
Next week whoever wins the HoH needs to go after Beth or Tina because they're useless and until now they were the necessary floaters. But now they need to go if they don't play harder.

Another boring AF ep. Everything so cemented they're having to fill the ep up with crappy food fights. And more let offs for the "have-nots". Austin broke the rules and stuffed her precious face just because she couldn't handle being nommed, and instead of punishing her and/or the entire house, they come up with some crap to gift them a bloody feast. PATHETIC. But that's how piss weak the game is these days.
The least said about BangBro Beth and her cringey "rain kiss"(with her 2nd choice) the better.
Cox didn't even ask Austin about Vic's invisible HOH "reveal" as it was obvious the entire house knew from the jump who it was, but they had her and a couple of others pretend they were completely "in the dark", just to try and cover up how much of an epic FAILURE this past week and their invisible "twist" was. RIDICULOUS.
And any hope of a non-rigged week was taken off the table the moment we seen the HOH comp was yet another non-skilled, easy answer question one(made all the easier for the pet-freaks who are told the answers beforehand) Did you see BangBro Bethy celebrating long before she'd even won it? She couldn't contain that big stupid grin on her face, annoyingly giddy over what she knew was imminent. Coz of course that is type of certainty that these type of bastard comps bring...which is exactly why production love them and use them so much. Not that anyone should feel any sympathy for that fool, given the way she cowardly took out LT, before following up with another piss weak, anti-female move. But see how it just runs through the same cycle? That moron chased down 2 females during her reign and now she's about to suffer the same fate from another anti-female trashcan. It's just a cycle that relentlessy churns season after season. No surprise to see Bang-Bro Bethy wearing the HOH like a baggy clown outfit.. of course her production pals did their best to give her one of those pathetic "mastermind" edits. EMBARRASSING. Pipsqueak Paras 2.0. And like her, she's started talking drivel and cackling to the cams in similar fashion. Notice just how set in stone everything already appears to be? Bethy having a good old laugh with Ro about who her real target is. But what IF she gets picked for POV(the magic bag delivers great convenience so many other times, so Y not this time?) and goes on to win it? Or Thai and/or Jed get picked and go on to win it so as not to use it? Skipping possibilities and probabilities is a privilege that only grade A pet-freaks can arrogantly run with.. it's clear BangBro Bethy is one of them. The magic POV draw was indeed predictably kind to pet-freak Bethy. The only player competing who wouldn't be using it was Thai. And even though the comp wasn't a blind bastard, it might as well have been, given how they added the "memory" aspect on top of it. This was so if Thai completed first they could just lie on the memory part. PATHETIC. And Prodction's desperation to have such nonsense preached by one of their outgoing puppets only drew more attention to that sad fact. Even Cox was cringing at the way she spat that out.
To control another HOH, we had another garbage easy "answer questions" one, which of course one of the lead pet-freaks "won" again by getting "perfect score" on. PATHETIC. Jed on himself and his pathetic crew coasting through the rigged double: "You couldn't even write that in a movie" .. No serious production team would ever dare write such weak trash, that's for damn sure,, but this production team is miles away from anything serious. They clearly couldn't care less about any form of fair and balanced game. All these fools appear to get off on is handpicking certain players who they decide are worthy of making the end/winning the game outright..and then setting about gifting them a clear path through a series of rigs.
BangBro Bethy is grinning away in her fav room asking "how they are still there?".. "It's crazy" she said. NO, it's neither puzzling nor crazy. It's simply the result of what happens when production allow you the privilege of coasting under their rotten wings. But here we see the desperation to hype her game status, "there's only room for 1 bad bitch in this game..and I'M it". EMBARRASSING. Sad bitch is much more like it. Delusional Kiefer looked like he actually believed he wouldn't be getting clowned for stating they're "the best alliance that's ever played this game"..
BangBro Bethy was afforded another "mastermind" cam talk segment, desperate to sell the fanciful notion that she knows exactly what she's doing, when in reality her only dream/gameplan was to get creamed and carried inside a male sammich.
"Ballpit Blitz" may as well have been named "Ballpit Fix"..unsurprisingly it was nothing but a tag-team exercise that was grossly weighted in favour of the 3 pet-freaks. Terra was given another "poor me" edit..and even though they ensured she couldn't win here, she still has one final chance to at least "have her moment" and magically save herself in the upcoming POV comp. And with pet-freak Jed shown hinting that he has "bigger plans"(similar to what his trashy gf was up to with her cowardice backdoor move) it should never come as any surprise if&when things again fall so neatly into place..

Production making fool of "blueline" early on in the edit, having her confidently state she won't be the boot..
Terrable thinks BangBro Bethy is playing a "stellar game". EMBARRASSING. On a par with those desperate "mastermind" cam talks she has. And now they have her smirking into cams, thinking that being carried in a male sammich(with added layers of production help) picking off females all game long..before potentially being "cutthroat" at the death to either/both players she's shamelessly opened her legs to, somehow makes her game "stellar" and win deserving. The girl is a tragic mess.
The pathetic POV "random" draw was back and it ended as predictably as all the others> in favour of all pet-freaks. Of course there's many times when the draw is inconsequential..and this would prove one of those times as we see the comp is designed for pre-determined winner/s. The beneficiary here being the dummy act that is TnT ..who unsurprisingly navigated through "rounds" to find themselves in a head2head. With no pet-freaks in any danger, we can see the times when production are happy enough to throw the odd bone to the second-stringers. And given Tina's game animation matches that of a tortoise, they're probably happy with how it settled.
A silly hidenseek game was introduced to determine which sole HG would be sleeping in the ball pit(where a "secret power" is at any moment likely to be stumbled upon) .. and after the convenient "winners" were of course 2 rotten "sauce" members..they tried to embarrassingly cover it as a "prank". Pet-freak Thai got to lead the the FORCED "diversity message".
Pet-freak Jed is all of a sudden "having doubts" over booting his fellow freak. Of course they never aired the fact that these "doubts" started creeping in after "Captain Kief" was crying like a big baby to his production pals, threatening to self-evict his entitled ass. "Mastermind" Bethy has been shown stating her need for Kiefer's removal ASAP, Thai also told him in this very ep that it's not good for him personally since he would take Jed over him..30secs later Thai&Jed have come to a conclusion that it is in fact best to keep chubbs..as BangBro Bethy looks on in concern..

like a silly lost puppy who deep down knows those guys are simply using her as a plaything. Of course we shouldn't be at all surprised to see the silly bitch in the next ep saying she's the one who drove this decision.
Kiefer embarrassingly in the DR pretending that him "campaigning his ass off" was what brought about this ludicrous U-turn. The sad fact is this had production's paw prints all over it. They either put the kibosh on "Captain Kief" getting the boot, or it was just a whole load of nonsense(much like the "teams" smokescreen introduced at the beginning) cooked up by production. For with all the pet-freaks safe again, 1 of 3 second-stringers guaranteed going at the end of another uneventful week, it's quite possible they were dreading piecing together enough content to fill it...and after witnessing non-entity Breydon standing in front of a mirror all day pouting lip gloss - Terra wandering around like a demented rottweiler - and Tina lazing about like an engineless jumbo jet.. THIS has most likely panicked them into concocting this "dramatic" rot.
BangBro Bethy was fuming that the boys told chubbs they'd be keeping him.. without her presence. She ridiculously tried to take credit for "coaching" them in doing "sooooooooooo much" .. and now she's pissed that they're making her standout like the powerless fool she is. She laughably suggested she might "go against the boys" in the vote. If production ever plan on gifting her another HOH reign they should make it compulsory for her to wear jumbo sized clown shoes the entire time.
Another easy "answer question" comp so they could control where it went. Since ANOTHER week of "Sauce" would've been too much even for production, we got the predictable switch of power that went the way of Terrable(who now has more wins to her name than BangBro Bethy) LMFAO Bethy's win conditions are dropping quicker than her panties did for Thai& Jed..
Let's see how next week's absurd "fake eviction" plays out..little doubt this shyte has been dreamed up for the benefit of pet-freak/s again. PATHETIC. And let me be clear about this, if Terra's reign ends and ALL 3 members of the sickening "Sauce" manage to remain in the game as a result of this silly bastard "twist", I'll immediately drop the season and won't watch another episode. I fully intended to see it through to the end..BUT if they dare go down such a DESPERATE, DESPERATE, DESPERATE path, my tolerance will have finally been pushed beyond its limit, which will prompt me to immediately wash my hands of it.
