I nice positive thread ahaha,

No, but which TV presenters or I guess other personalities on TV do you not think deserve the success/acclaim they receive.

I’m not quite sure, Rylan has worked his arse off for his career, and to get where he’s got to, and has remained very grounded, so I’d say he does deserve his success based off how hard he’s worked to get where he is, same with Holly. (Although obviously different career paths)

Yeah imo, he did start off on Reality TV, but for a while he was pretty much working 7 days a week when BOTS was on, and he was doing other shows, I totally get he’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but a lot of the time I forget that he even started on X Factor, but it takes a driven person to turn those 15 minutes into a very successful career.

Rylan's a natural presenter and effortlessly charming and funny... great on his Radio 2 slot as well, will never understand why he gets hate when there are so many soulless charisma-vacuums doing the rounds as well (Marvin & Rochelle, Ben Shepherd)

Michael McIntyre stands out to me... I don't hate the guy, his stand-up is... okay (nowhere near the best, very safe and predictable) but he's a ****ing awful presenter, too overbearing, too camp and OTT.

David Walliams and Amanda Holden are good shouts too. He's a one-note Kenneth Williams impersonator which doesn't sit right with me since he isn't actually gay, and she's just... awful.

Braden

I have to say Rylan, too. I just find him so insincere and try-hard, and he usually ruins whatever show he's on/presenting. Not to mention he has one of the most jarring voices in show-business.

Also coming here to defend Rylan. He's a natural in any role he takes on. His radio 2 slot is one of the only times I listen to radio and hes always seemed enthusiastic about any role hes been given.

Especially Eurovision. I cant wait for him to take Norton's gig.

I don't mind Rylan, sometimes. At times he does have a good sense of humour, but I can sometimes see the bitchy side in him. I dislike when he talks through his nose too, hopefully he's sorted that out by now.

Coleen Nolan.

A vapid, evil bully. I know Kim Woodburn is very confrontational and all but the Loose Women episode when Coleen and her thieving scum sister ganged up on Kim while she explained her horrific upbringing and took turns rolling their eyes at her was absolutely disgusting. Coleen should have been fired for that display.

There was nothing racist about Bo selecta it was just crude and imo not that funny , i never got why it was popular as it was cringy and very silly . Especially the way he had to hold together those ugly masks falling to bits with glasses  .

If anything he should of apologised for making Craig David feel like crap as he clearly offended him , as he relentlessly mocked and embarrassed him and turned him into a ridiculous meme. Craig David disappeared for ages before he made a comeback because of it .

And yes i know Lee Francis took the mickey out of every celebrity and had no filter , but he did it more so with Craig David with the whole ' Bo selecta' shtick .

Jeremy Clarkson is the worst TV host ever ! , Of all the people they could of had and they chose that arrogant useless idiot .

Also when he gets the 'ask the host' option, he hardly ever knows the question unless it's about cars or if it's a 50/50 guess .

I saw it the other day when he was asked about Meryl Streep movies , he started to bash her 'mamma mia' movie :bored: instead of just giving the answer right away.

Actually it WAS a big deal Marsh , but I wasn't aware at first how badly he mocked Trisha as I never really watched Bo selecta . And I was more familiar with his other grotesque portrayals of Mel B , Craig David & Michael Jackson.

If you watch life stories with Trisha ,she explains how her kids received racist remarks of people mimicking terrible Jamaican accents of "rice & peas" . Plus she herself got treated badly aswell.

Leigh Francis' Trisha sketches are cringy and not funny , plus she doesn't even have a Jamaican accent  . So it just ended up reinforcing embarrassing black stereotypes. So yeah it's aged badly .

People slated him for apologising probably because they themselves didn't see Bo selecta as offensive.

And because when there's a public apology , there's a hint of scepticism . Probably because we're so use to seeing PR questionable set ups.

But Trisha has clearly accepted his apology netherless and moved on so yeah  .

I nice positive thread ahaha,

No, but which TV presenters or I guess other personalities on TV do you not think deserve the success/acclaim they receive.

She can barely form a sentence together that gives an opinion other than awwwww.

Holly is a gorgeous lady inside and out .. with a great personality and fab sense of humour imho

I meant Keith Lemon apologising wasn't the big deal the other poster was making it out to be. As though he was being forced to apologise for something he didn't need to.

He acknowledged his mistake which is fair play.

At first I thought he was apologizing for the Mel B stuff, and doing that would be a bit "virtue signal"ish because there's nothing racial about that "impression". So yeah slating him for grovelling over that would be fair play.

But Trisha? Even at the time that was cringey...
