Depends if they're a good catfish , Alex from series 1 played a good game and I was glad he won.

But Jack & Beth in series 2 were awful as an old woman ,and I didn't like them . So I was happy when they got blocked.

Just finished watching the first 4 episodes, loving it so far! The cloning twist was genius, the paranoia and suspense had me on the edge of my seat. I am glad that the real Tally had stayed although it would've been hilarious had she went.

in the end it is also a competition, and to get far yourself you need allies, so my strategy would be go in a lot of private chats, and try to create one strong alliance to work some of our competitors out


profile photo choice is always important yes, also preferably the ones without filters are best choice otherwise you might get accused of being a catfish

I liked 'Felix' standing up to 'Gemma' , plus Gemma is also a catfish anyway . And the other players were definitely holding back on their thoughts with the whole assassin mission , Manrika dislikes Gemma but keeps acting sweet.I know it's a game plan,but it gets boring everyone kissing up all the time.

All the players choose who they want to be whether it's a catfish or themselves, or themselves but with a bit of added embellishment .

If they are catfishess it's usually a friend's photos they're using or it's someone they've gotten the permission of. I assume James knows the real NHS nurse . What's annoying is it's not always explained .

There was a father & daughter duo who got blocked very earlyy in the game ,they were a catfish called 'penny' but I don't know how they knew the person in the photos, they joked about her being the ideal wife and step mother to them .

Yeah if you get blocked it's permanent , except for the first blocking when Yolanda got a second chance to clone another player. The blocked player then gets to visit a person of their choice before they leave the apartment block.

But let's be honest she's ruthless and manipulative . I didn't like her at the beginning but then I enjoyed watching her play the game. in the blocking with 'Felix' ,she 100% controlled that but was interesting seeing Felix stand by Femi.

The problem is unless they blocked the newbies, Manrika would always be seen as a 'back stabber' . So there wasn't a win win situation there . She promised Pippa she had her back & 'felix' had bonded with Femi.

And Vithun was bottom of the ratings. But now Andy thinks they've been sly to block Vithun. But they were never going to get rid of the other players.

However Vithun wasn't a threat in the game either. So it's ashame for him.

Problem is how do you play in the circle and not lie or throw a few players under the bus , it's designed to make people fall out and save their own skins.

Don't get me wrong there's some people who play nasty and come across unlikeable and cruel . But you definitely have to be tactical and ruthless to a degree to survive.

Billy & Vithun sadly were not cut out for The circle . I liked them both as they seemed nice and genuine, but they got used.

And I was thrilled when 'Gemma' got blocked, he was a salty sore loser. He actually had the nerve to call Manrika a liar when he was pretending to be an NHS nurse. He was arrogant and unpleasant especially when he met Manrika . And Andy also blocked him ,yet he chose to go to Manrika's apartment to moan and tell her off.

I'm glad 'Felix' is a catfish though and they've proved to be a strong player , and i was actually enjoying their strategy despite the cringy flirting . And to be honest when Felix's identity is revealed (hopefully not too soon) , then it will be a wake up call to Manrika and it will be entertaining to watch :joker:. Because yes she's played a good game , but she can't expect everyone to be truthful and honest with her . You have to realise people will deceive and lie to get ahead .

Manrika is now behaving as if only she's allowed to 'play the game' so to speak , She's angry with Andy and it isn't really justified but we all know what her goal is especially the way she single handedly turned a few players against Andy now , but lets face it Femi & Pippa were already putty in her hands . But they're all there to win and they all have a game plan.

And when Manrika is bored of Pippa & Femi she'll block them both. I think the next influencers will be Manrika & Syed, and she'll once again get her own way and Syed will go along with whatever she says . Andy is definitely on the chopping block next 100% ! .

...yeah, I’m just reading this morning about the social media hate that Manrika is getting, GoldHeart...it’s just so horrendous and wrong...when there’s often going to be that element of game playing in reality shows...we wonder how they can continue into the future if they can’t play out for what they are without the strength of feelings they get from social media in their judgement of the players...we’ve had this whole era of reality shows but they’re just becoming incompatible with the world of social media, I feel...as you know, I haven’t watched from the beginning so haven’t seen all of the back stuff, but I do like Manika for her game playing...maybe mainly because, as you say...Gemma/Hunter just seemed quite bitter, I didn’t really connect very well with him and Manika was quite key to him going...I did though like Vithin, he’s such a darling...:love:...

...one of the things about these type of shows is that they are often largely based on ‘hero/villain’ and that social media hate/toxicity has started to make them all fairly unwatchable because it’s completely taken away the ‘pantomime’ aspect...

There's too many catfish now , literally Manrika & Andy are the only REAL people left in the competition. I actually wish Tom was a GENUINE REAL player instead of Femi & Pippa posing as him (not a fan atall of them coming back ) . I bet the real Tom would have soo many interesting stories to tell as a vicar , and would have been a cool fresh dynamic having someone like him enter the circle. Yesss i'm so glad with the result , i never thought Felix was going to win but look how close it was WOW incredible.

And the table meeting was amazing and hilarious. Fair play to Syed for accepting Felix as a catfish (i know he was a catfish himself). But at the end of the day they all knew it was a game and they knew what they signed up for , and Syed himself felt nervous revealing his true identity.

I knew Manrika would be annoyed at first , but she said herself she wondered if Felix was a girl . And it's a game so if you're going to get emotionally invested you've got to expect the unexpected. Not everyone is going to be who they say they are , and she's the one that kept encouraging the flirting with Felix anyway.

And nobody with any sense is going to admit they're a CATFISH whilst still being in the game , Gemma stupidly made that mistake LOL .

If i was in the circle i'd always have in my head that anyone of the players could be a full blown catfish. Nothing is always what it seems .


And also Felix had Manrika's back from day 1 so loyal till the end , It reminded me of the bond between Dan & Kate in s1 .
