...I know that we’ve had this before but in childhood, what was your dream of becoming when you grew up..?...

I always wanted to be a nurse.....until I nearly fainted every time I saw a needle!! I have an aversion to knees too (a girl at school dislocated her knee and ever since then I have, pardon the pun, gone weak at the knees at any mention of knee injuries).

At the moment my son wants to be either a professional footballer, an author or a famous you-tuber. Bit better than the lollipop man stage he went through

Same for me Annie, always had that nursing urge, but ended up taking a job in New York and being a nanny and liking being with children,so have ended up with 4 children and being a teachers assistance  but still wonder what nursing would be like I am considering taking a midwifery course.

I just wanted to play football from about the age of 3 ... 60 years later nothing has changed :)

It often changed frequently depending on my mood . My ‘dream’ job was being an actor but I liked the idea of being an English teacher too.

I remember wanting to be a nurse/GP/air steward/landlord of a pub etc at different times too

And thats actually not a joke.

If I didnt have the brains I do then I could have seen myself going down that path.

An MP.
It's still something I could head deeper into, and have explored it repeatedly.

I'm sadly very disillusioned with the political set up at present.
I may still yet move with my Mum to Republic of Ireland.
I also still strongly support the EU, so something political there could be a road I'd like.

In the UK I doubt I'd now want to support this archaic and near totally easily abused and unrepresentative election system.
Which gives absolute power to any Party with 56% of the actual voters not supporting it.
That's not strong or good government, it's obscene.
So unless PR came in for elections, I can't now possibly see myself wanting to pursue a political career in the UK.

Professional rugby player or Nobel Memorial Prize laureate in Economics or anything related to the UK.

Ended up being senior project manager in the shipping industry who still plays rugby on the side.... But mainly working with UK and married to a Scottish, so I can't complain really

A Vet but I changed my mind after finding out I'd have to put animals to sleep (also no way I would have gotten enough points for the University course anyway  )
